This is crazy. I listened to this song back when I was a kid. I come back to it in 2015 and I've done and felt nearly everything that Suburban Jesus has done and felt. Only thing left to do now is leave my home town and go on a spiritual journey that I can't afford.

Billy Joel is probably the greatest pop rock writer of my generation. I can hear elements of Captain Jack & Scenes from an Italian restaurant here. I also get influences from Johnny Cash & Motley Crue. Green Day is an amazing amalgamation of diverse influences & independent creation.
