Hi there, excellent video here I just had a few questions. I have a dodge charger I am working on. Windshield was replaced, and I had a wiring harness for the front ACC Module that ended up breaking that I had replaced and now module is connected again. I never had gotten my windshield calibrated, would that be a reason to throw the error messages adaptive cruise control lane sense off. And I have another for FCW unavailable. “Service required” thank you in advance if you happen to see this comment.

That took longer than any gm I have seen, but although you may have been within the speed it recommends the system still does not like highways. Same for radar as well.

So you just drive the vehicle in a straight line over 35 mph for 3-5 minutes and it calibrates itself. Why pay $500 for some mechanic to do this?

The software allows it to “calibrate itself” just pay for the hardware, software, yearly subscription fees and do it yourself

This is so slow compared to the Bosch system. So much crap required just to do a simple dynamic calibration.

I used Bosch w safelite I own my own business now I now have autel and I do agree Bosch is easier , but once you get the hang of it it’s all the same

From a 1 Hr job replacement of a windshield now is 3 hour job and what is funny the insurance companies don’t want to pay the installers correctly it is a hassle honestly if you can avoid buy a car with this BS features the better the government have became very invasive lately

If the government had any use they would force car makers to add a feature to disable all that nonsense tech. stuff that just gets into peoples' way.

Safelite doesn't check fuel level or tire pressure or correct measurements if it's a vehicle with static calibration

@@jolperez96 I would never let safelite touch my car. I flight safely from them! lol They teach horrible incorrect process to their techs, if they get training at all.

Satellite is a joke. We have customers come in constantly saying they have a windshield leak and we usually end up pulling the windshield and cleaning it up and installing the windshield again. They also get little to no training. They broke my aunts windshield trying to repair a crack.she said they basically said that sucks and left. Lucky for her im in the buisness so I loaded up and replaced it at her house. Duck Safelite

Is it even possible nowadays to get a car that doesn't have all this useless and unnecessary crap? I just want a car that drives without all these bells and whistles.
