Hi I have been working at RRB as PO since last 7 years & trust me life at RRB is way better than PSU bank if you do not have high aim like becoming head of the bank like he said like arundhati etc. I'll share my experience, albeit I too have joined with a pre conceived notion that life at RRB is not good as compared to other job. As the years passed on I've realised at later point of life you will realise peace of mind is more important than material life or salary. All the points which he discussed is 100% true.
Advantage: you will close your branch max at 6 even if you're a scale 2, me and my wife both work at RRB and we spend quality time together and spend time on our hobby. Me as scale 2 branch manager come home at 6 and my neighbour as SBI clerk come at 6.30., working culture at RRB is very amicable, yes we do getting insurance target like other banks but it's not that much pressure compare to other. In a nutshell I can say if you need peace of mind and do not have high aim of growing just need simple life with high savings for future you can join RRB. Life at RRB is way too better then what we assume just with its tag of rural. Trust me.

RRB PO is the best job available if you work hard sincerely. I am just a graduate(2021 sept) . I am working as a Postal Assistant for the last 4 years. I am recently posted in a rural area. Believe me real India is there in villages. People treat me with utmost care. They are offering organic vegetables, fruits, leafy vegetables which were grown in their home yards. I can't even consume everything they give. I offer it to the needy. A happy life is everyone wants at the end. You may become a rich person but ultimately you need happiness and joy, those can't be achieved in corporate life. Thank you. Even before watching this video I am aware of every perk this guy explained. 66 attempts in prelims with 95% accuracy. But the thing belongs to mains. I got 102.75 (cut off 83.5) in ibps PO mains but only 40/100 in interview. These are my first banking exams. I cleared SBI JA Pre, NIACL AO pre. I wish I could get through this time in interview. I am damn sure of clearing mains with a good margin. Wish me good luck. It's not over confidence but the belief in me. 😀

I have joined as SBI PO on April 8th and joined my 1st branch on May 6th. Last month I have only one day as holiday and till now I didn't have a Saturday as holiday. We're salesman, recovery agent and the last thing is banker. Daily working hours will be 9:30-8:30, i need to travel 40kms to my place, so i spend nearly 13-14hrs on my job.So if you don't want any life outside work join. Else prepare for other jobs.

1) is language going to be a big concern……she does speak marathi but is not a native speaker?
2) After spending 3 years if she becomes an officer will she get to chose the location or is it random? as we are from Mumbai it will be great if she could get posting in urban areas

But Rrbpo is best bank others bank
1. Nahi nikal pate hain sir 5 baje EOD ka menu disable kar diya jata hai.
2. Sales ka pressure bahut hai har din login day hota hai.
3. Up se bhar rahe ho to samajh jao ki mini India me ho tum near to home posting bhul jao.
4. Coming to privatisation agar Bank loss me ja Raha hai kuch to Kiya jaega.
5. Rrb me branch head ko bhi cash pe baithna pad jata hai.
6. Posting - bhai tehsil me 10 branches hain aur panch me officer banke ghumate hain.

Konsa sales ka pressure mere region ki 66 branches me sirf 10 branch Hain Jo har mahine regular ek policy karte Hain aur konsa mini India kam se kam khud ke state me to rahoge.

RRBs can never be privatised totally, otherwise Private banks will left rural branches.

RRBs will get privatised after mergers and only one will remain...like only one bank will remain as PSBs i.e. sbi all others will further merger and get privatised

Sach to yeh hai ki arundhati bhattacharya ya dinesh khara har koi nahi banta. Maximum after 30 years of service you can rise max upto AGM (scale V) or DGM(Scale VI) ,not more than that.
Few exceptional personalities reach upto the rank of CMD or ED.

Some RRB staffs are deputed to their sponsored bank head offices or IT offices. For them, these comfort of leaving office at 6, home posting is not true. Working 10am - 8/9 pm is normal. And so called these people joined private banks later on.
Sponsor bank se to yaha ate hai ..lkn rrb se sponsor bank me kab se jane lange

Have SBI as the sponsor bank
And trust me we have the same targets as that of SBI considering the scale of the branch Nd customer base.
RRBs extremely good option for females since 90 percent branches are in rural areas but they get the creamy layer.
And not all branches can leave at 5.
One thing RRB teaches you is how to manage things in scarcity
Have staff of only 2 in major branches ,one needs to cry for leaves,
A clerk in a RRB has more knowledge than a PO from a nationalised bank not speaking this in an arrogant way but its because the job requires that.
Rest all has been mentioned correctly

Clarifications as an RRBian :
• Closing time isn't specific. Goes on till work isn't done. Also depends on branch size and BM, but yes, it's sooner as compared to PSBs. (p.s. I've left branch at 7:30pm for few weeks)
• Cross-Sell is at par infact, "MORE" in comparison to PSBs, specially for RRBs under SBI sponsorship.
• Yes, products are limited, hence core-banking products of Deposits and Advances aren't much leading to excessive focus on cross-sell.
You think leaving at 7:30 is late.. 😂 , there are many leaving at 8:30/9:00 on a daily basis
