I did hear that Super Mario 64 2 was supposed to be similar to this kind of ROM hack right here(though the real game was only half way completed before cancellation). And if this really does turn out to be the case, a game like this could've worked nicely on a 16mgbyte(128mgbit) cartridge. Especially considering that the first game was released on an 8mgbyte(64mgbit) cartridge back in 1996!

Obviously there was going to be way more levels than what is here, but that's to be expected from a game that was only about half way completed before cancelation!
An alright hack. Things I'd change: 1) Make it longer. 2) The replacement star-getting victory music isn't as good as the one from the original game. Please change it.

its more like a reinvision. it follows very close to the original. this is what the original shouldve been

I agree with no.1 definitly. No.2 I think they're both pretty good in their own right.
