This is enormously true, but I don't think it's quite the bottom line. I propose the following as an even deeper truth: in mainstream Islamic thought, it is an unbearable disgrace to lose any physical territory on this earth that was once Islamicized but is now no longer given to Allah. It is a constant wound to Islamic pride and is worth ANYTHING to remedy, in their eyes.

@@jamespohlig2381 Let us be honest, both Jews and Palestinians are all Arab tribes at the end of the day. So the Sunni/Shia conflict is just like the Jewish/Palestinian conflict, a religous war with a twist, a load of European Jews choose to steal land they were not entitled to. But this was decided by the UN after the mandate who got what, Israelis got the better deal then despite the smaller population at the time. Therefore, that agreement should stand and Israelis should withdraw to the border defined by the UN. The UN should enforce the border areas from then on but as we know Israel likes to kill UN soldiers as well as British or American soldiers who get in their way!

If you go back to the original mandates, it's clear that Israel is just a tiny sliver of the total. The French Mandate got carved into the Arab states of *Lebanon* and *Syria.* The British Mandate got carved into *Iraq, Jordan,* and *Israel* plus land for a state that would be called Palestine.
Palestine would become a state once it formed a legitimate government that could handle security. However, from day one Palestinian leaders did not want their own state -- they insisted on replacing Israel. The Palestinian warlord Yasser Arafat even participated in the 1948 attacks to eliminate Israel.

When people say, "The conflict in the Middle East, is a very complex issue," they know little or nothing about the Middle East. It is not that complex, it was clear from the very beginning. Jews wanted only one thing, to return to their indigenous homeland. They wanted their ancestral land back that foreigners had ejected them from, and been occupying for over a thousand years. Though they never completely left or abandoned the land of Israel and a remnant had always maintained a presence in Israel, they had never regained the sovereignty they once possessed. Multiple foreign armies had for over a millennia, overrun the land, occupied it, then in turn had their own homelands conquered, and eventually abandoned their occupation of Israel and left. For Jews, it is not a complex issue. They are no different than any nation that in the past was conquered and had their homeland occupied by foreigners. Their strongest wish is to return to their indigenous homeland and once again gain sovereignty. After over a millennia the Jewish people scattered abroad, returned to join the remnant that had managed to remain and accomplished their dream, regaining sovereignty over some of their indigenous land. To Arabs in the Middle East, it is also not complex. They have sovereignty over 22 nations, and also only want one thing. The one thing they want, is for the Jews not to have sovereignty over any of their historic indigenous land in the Middle East. The conflict in the Middle East is not a very complex issue.

Another good example of giving 2 states solution is Kashmir where Muslims enjoyed an almost fully autonomous state till 2 years ago since India's independence (that is more than 50+ years) and it became a breeding ground for all types of terror groups. Israel is Israel because we are Jews and are supposed to follow the Torah and the Tanach which includes the books of the prophets, which is the word of G-d. Which prophet spoke of two nations existing, splitting the land of Israel?

    • @waseemarain2855
      @waseemarain2855 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Actually, Jews were supposed to follow the Holy Quran (the final book directly from God) and Islamic teachings. Prophets Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and Solomon were all following Islamic teachings, and they were all prophets of Islam, including Jesus. The original Torah is not even available, as all holy books/scriptures before Holy Quran have disappeared (original scriptures/books, i.e., Zabur, Torah, and Injil have all disappeared / are not available). The books currently available as Torah and Injil were all written by humans and not words of God. These are corrupted versions. The final book from God is The Holy Quran, which is not corrupted, and the last Prophet is Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

If you went back in time and asked Moses what "Islam" is, he wouldn't be able to answer your question. If you asked Isaac what the Kaaba is, which Islam claims that Abraham built, he wouldn't be able to answer your question. If you asked Abraham if he wants his family burial ground in Hebron to belong to the Israelites/Jews & for the inscriptions to be in Hebrew VS letting the Ishmaelites/Arabs turn it into a mosque and ban Jews from entering, he would pick the first option and would be horrified by the thought of the second one. If you asked Solomon if he wants the Temple Mount to have a temple on it VS a mosque where Jews aren't allowed, he would choose the temple and he was the guy that got it built the Temple in the first place.
It's your prerogative to be a Muslim but the problem is you guys keep appropriating OUR things, claim that they always belonged to you, expel us from our holy sites, not even let Jews visit our common ancestor Abraham which gave birth to both the Jewish nation and the Arab nation, and then support genocidal massacres against us and broadcast to the world that Jews are just a bunch of Europeans that colonized the land & have no right to be there.
Had Jews hypothetically stolen the Kaaba out of your hands & turned it into a synagogue, you would launch a holy war against us with no mercy. We, on the other hand, have been very patient and even arrest Jews that dare to pray on the Temple Mount, & what do we get? Muslims attacking us & saying, "This attack is a response to Zionist provocation at Al-Aqsa". But what incentive do you have to change your ways? None, because the entire world agrees with you, have almost always hated my people, & vilify Israel with a passion. We won the battles but you won the war. But soon, our generous patience will run out, we will transfer many Palestinian Arabs out of the land & only let those who come in peace to stay, & then God-willing we'll live happily ever after.

HAMAS's objective is to built a replica of the Islamic Republic of Iran under Shariah Law. I have seen a video asking Palestinians on the street what would happen to the Jews 'If Palestine was to retake Palestine.' The interesting thing is that some said they would be okay with the Jews who were there prior to 1948, they say they had no problems with them, even though the Arabs and Jews fought almost all the time in the 1920s. Everyone else, except for maybe direct descendants would have to 'go back to where they came from, not my problem. It's your mess to clean up.' The Palestinians see Israelis as Europeans, and they don't care where they would go. Thing is, though, that HAMAS and Fatah want to make sure all the Jews are dead, so they're not going to let the Jews leave if they have their way.
So Israel must defend themselves, or no Jew is safe. And after the Jew will come the time for other non-Muslims. The West does not understand, HAMAS does not value anything the same. HAMAS is an agent of Iran, so they have the same values as the Ayatollah. And they don't bother to hide it.

The ones that left, already left to Egypt and Jordan, that's who took over Gaza and the West Bank militarily from 1948-1967. The only reason they don't want them now is that they are the front line fighters and they still want the same thing they did in 48, 67, and 73, they just don't want to actively invade anymore. Just look at the statements from Egypt and Jordan recently, they are very much still frenemies.

      th-cam.com/video/1JcUZbR-m5g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-Pu0Y12Ia6TduRRN
Egypt is unstable with a dictatorship and their economy is terrible. Syria is also a dictatorship, and Bashar al-Assad has killed over 300 thousand people! Nobody mentions that. Qatar sponsors global terrorism. Yemen is a mess where rape is legal. Some people expect the West to support Gazans, but how can the West support Gazans where men are pedophiles? These child marriages are legal in Afghanistan and Yemen as well.
      th-cam.com/video/jhK9XypwMIA/w-d-xo.html
Hence, a 2-State solution is nice with pink elephants and lemonade, but it won't work. Their religion that is an ideology based on submission and brutal violence is standing in their way, which regrettably became evident on October 7 of last year. The Americans had a taste of it in the early 19th century with the Barbary Wars. Meanwhile, the West has gone through an Industrial Revolution. Their backward primitive culture must go through a lot of evolution before a 2-state solution is possible. Right now they are living with an ideology from the middle ages. Israel must do what they have to do and that is to get rid of Hamas.

Israel gave all the Arab Land it conquered in all the wars except for Golan Heights for Peace, 75 years on it's still fighting it's right to live on its Ancestral Home land. Wests idea of compromise does not work for Middle East mentality, the Arabs will consider pushing for more until Israel the only Democratic State will have nothing more to give. Palestine people must accept the only land available to them, Gaza to set up their Statehood. The West Bank belongs to Israel, all Palestinians must move to Gaza and live as an Arab nation. Enough of compromise, Israel gave back all the land it conquered only two countries signed peace treaty and the landless Palestinians still giving problems to Israel. He’s a political propagandist not someone who actually cares about the peace and security of Israelis or Arabs. You can tell because although he criticizes the two state solution he offers no alternatives. The only solution he seems to be able to comprehend is one in which West Bank Palestinians remain without a state or Israeli citizenship in their little islands or they all are ethnically cleansed. Not exactly my definition of a workable and just peace.

I lived in a house for 30 years but was forcibly evicted. Do I have the same historical claim to that house as today's Israelis historical claim to Israel?
What do you think the answer would be if you ask Palestinians whether they're willing to swap their wives for peace?
Also, I'm dubious about anyone that claims something has been "proven to be the all time best" - especially in a non-scientific field like politics.

G-d gave the Land of Israel to the Jewish people forever, and it says this in the Bible many times. G-d created the world and gave the Land at first to the Canaanites. Then when He wished, He took it from the Canaanites and gave it to the Jews. Jews have lived there since G-d took them out of Egypt thousands of years ago. Even when many other nations conquered Israel and Judea and killed, enslaved and dispersed the majority of the Jewish people, Jews have always lived in the Land of Israel, until today.

The Muslim Arabs do not have historical claims to the land, they migrated to the land just as many Jews did, although the Jews as a people were there thousands of years before the Arabs who came from Arabian lands. But they they started many wars with the Jews/Israel who won these wars and land and that's what happens in war- whoever wins takes the land. In addition to this, the Muslim Arabs who live in Israrl, Gaza and the West Bank NEVER ruled nor governed Palestine. Before Israel GAVE those who live in Gaza the land, they never governed it ever. And the same is with the West Bank.

Palestinians are protesting the land that was bordered off from them, not the Jews themselves. Jews and Arabs/Palestinians have lived in that land for thousands of years.
“Archaeologic and genetic data support that both Jews and Palestinians came from the ancient Canaanites, who extensively mixed with Egyptians, Mesopotamian, and Anatolian peoples in ancient times. Thus, Palestinian-Jewish rivalry is based in cultural and religious, but not in genetic, differences.”

Anyone who uses historic reasoning for why they're invading a sovereign state is wrong. By that logic just about every country in the world should be at war with their neighbor based on arbitrarily selected historic point in time when it was "their" land. Palestinians should do what every other civilized country has done and just accept reality. Lands change hands and even if it was your land at some point, it no longer is.

Dna has intermingled between people since before we were a species and indeed between species ( we have Neanderthal and Devonsonian DNA) . People have moved around geographically too much to know every detail. However the jewish culture and religion( that displaced an earlier one that is gone) predates the invention of islam in Israel by a few thousand years. Im not saying Jews have the sole right to the land both peoples do, but theirs as the original owners displaced by muslim invasion is strongest. I also believe a two state solution is next to impossible as no outside military will guarantee Israels security by manning the border and too many Palestinians have been brainwashed to wanting a one state solution. They seem incapable of building an economy and a society when they have had the own land rather than terroist infrastructure.

if israel refuses to recognise palestine as a state then, by default, all the people living in palestine are israeli citizens and have the legal right to vote and all of the legal rights and protecitons that israelis have however the fact that they are being refused of those rights means that israel see them as second class citizens which is kind of the definition of apartheit

Romans, Babylonians, Assyrians, Christian Crusaders. The Jewish diasporas occurred and Arabs migrated into the region.
now calling this "decolonization" is a bit comical given the european DNA of the majority of the immigrants from Europe. But setting that aside, I love honest the bare faced cruelty in thinking it is acceptable to forcibly displace people who have lived in a region for hundreds of years in the 20th and 21st centuries. Mask off time eh?

@@jchan9761 I never put a mask I've been criticizing giving away gaza and control of the west bank the moment I heard about it. I believe it is both the right and duty of all people's to defend their homeland through pain and conquest the land was taken and if necessary by pain and conquest it will be returned period. Having mixed race heretige is no excuse to deny a displaced people their native homeland there are countries in africa that have offered right of return to african americans who decended from those regions and who's ancestors were enslaved and shipped out and I think it's good they can return to their people if they choose to. The fact of the matter is that most jews follow the same religion and speak the same language and maintained their historical knowledge of their homeland that's what a national identity is and they always intended to return one day it's not like a random Scottish guy with 1% danish blood from a thousand years ago with no cultural ties and doesn't even worship odin deciding one day he's a Viking now and going back to denmark. Jews maintained an ethnic identity with the intent to remaim a seperate people and to return home so they should. To be consistent if a given group of native americans proved historical ties to a specific piece of land that was taken and bought by European settlers than I fully support the government to use eminent domain laws and evict the resident but I'd also compensate them since I recognize that they have become victims aswell however first grievance takes priority. Same with arabs who bought land since we can't track specific acres to specific jewish lines I say Israel give resident status or citizenship and let them keep private land but tax it as a part of Israel converting them from occupiers to retroactive immigrants.

It's about that this is an area that is sacred to three religions. Why should all of it belong to members of one religion? Why should it all belong to jews only? Because it says so in your book? To everyone his own book is right, so this is no argument. The jews could have had a big area in today's west poland, what was once germany. Instead, they came to palestine and started oppressing people who hadn't harmed them. That jews did that is a shame, they should know best what discrimination means
