That's exactly what I'm doing trying to hang on to Judaism and therefore trying to convert so bad cause I know Judaism IS the true G@d chosen religion. HaShem bless you for ever

Thank you, Rabbi Skobac, for your cogent teaching on every subject, but especially on this topic.

This morning I got Deuteronomy 4 during my strange hearings. I suffer from mental illness(OCD), at times I hear scriptures, since my anxiety sometimes is unbearable at times, I thought it is acting up. Here, however you have quoted this chapter often. It is in parasha Va'etchanan(I Pleaded) is it for me to repent? I cannot stop listening to your lectures, even though my attention span is short. Listening to you this long says a lot. I am a terrible, poor person who needs to let God be my master. Thank you Rabbi

The first Jews had been exiled and their stories didn't end. Survival is a characteristic of Jewish history and in the face of adversity it remains dire. L'chaim.

@57:04 My middle Hebrew name is Emunah. I did not know these extra facts about the word! I am both a visual artist and caretaker of many children. Weird "coincidence" isn't it!?

I was a devoted observant Jew. I wanted to know G/d existed. Just believing wasn’t enough. So I became an atheist. My issue is with faith. To me faith is meaningless. You can believe anything on faith, faith isn’t a pathway to truth, it’s believing something because you want it to be true.
