    From what I see on the few dyno charts floating around on this thing its going to feel a little like riding a 125 two stroke, lacking bottom, mid hit, pull on top....but definitely across a larger range. Might be fun to ride, it just probably isn't as competitive if you aren't in good shape. Sounds fun, just a little more work to ride.

    250 2 stroke is much faster, lighter, less expensive, and easier to maintain.

      Facts? Next time you are at the race, ask if you can enter your CR250 in the 250 class... I rest my case.

      grabir01 he is right, as of November of 2007 in AMA amatuer racers are allowed to race a 250cc two stroke in any 250 class both limited and modified classes in an AMA sanctioned event, along with the XC2 Pro Lites class in the GNCC series. This rule does not apply to Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross and Monster Energy FIM World Supercross (I think as well Arenacross), but the average racer along with off road you are allowed to compete on any 250 of your choosing as long as it meets specifications of the class. Even the Pro Australian series allows this with the exception that 250 two strokes must retain oem spec piston, crank, carb (minus jetting), and electrical.

      only arm chair racers that never get off the couch think a 250 has to race against a 450, the internet is full of guys like grabir01 that haven't been to a motocross track in the last ten years yet they act like they know everything.

      Yeah, sorry bub, there are tons of 250 2 strokes that race in AMA sanctioned races these days...and get smoked pretty damn often by the current 4 stroke 250s. The pro level is a different story. They need to hurry up and allow 2 stroke 250s to race the 250 class there also so they'll get smoked by the 4 strokes just the same and everyone can finally shut the f@ck up about it.

    So tired of hearing it feels light. Feeling light will not let you beat the competition into a turn when you are on the heaviest bike in the class. The 2018 cr250f weighs more than a ktm450. Dual exhaust is a gimmick
