Floor's switching in and out of operatic singing in this one are insanely difficult, while she does it fluently. Not possible for ordinary singers. She was already an incredible singer back then - I experienced some of their concerts, and she also had that grib on the audience. The D5 at the end the song is the original Floorgasm. I remember getting Decipher the week it came out (way back in 2002) and played it on my small portable CD player before the start of a music theory class my sophomore year of college. The prof (who was also my vocal coach/choir director at the school) litterally asked "Who the hell is that?!" after the song ended. I consider myself quite lucky to have been able to see them twice (ProgPower VIII and the NYC stop, got to hang and chat with Joost and Floor for a handful of minutes after the latter and got them to sign my DVD copy of Live on Earth by Star One (also got Russel Allen's signature on it back in 2012 when Symphony X was touring with Iced Earth) on their 1 and only US tour in 2007.

Absolutely great to see some reactions to them appearing now thanks to Floor's ongoing success with Nightwish and last year in Beste Zangers.
Leo Villaverde no the Zillo festival version is better despite poor audio quality. Floor messes up the high note at Pinkpop whereas at Zillo she nails it like a boss.

Having been a lifelong Electric Light Orchestra (E.L.O.) fan I am loving the strings on this, something that E.L.O. are synonymous for going right back to the early 1970s. This is raw and I love it.
