    Thing is, in this scenario, Ari's 100% correct. Vince went on to make some hits, some flops, and some pulled-plug projects. E was lucky and got more credit than he deserved for what went right.

      a million years later, if Vince had listened to E, Medellin would have been a hit. E got as much credit as any manager or agent deserves that has to deal with the whims of their client, but E's tenacity and devotion to Vince is what got him Smokejumpers and revitalized his career. He went above and beyond because of their friendship when a regular manager would have dropped Vince

      Bro what did you even watch the show . Everything good Eric did - madehorn ended up being a flop he told Vince to pass-he told him to take a chance for aqua man and they got it - he wanted to wait and take time to cut and edit Medellin and he was right - he was also the only reason Vince came buck bc he pushed how gus van sant to see his smokejumpers scenes which got him the gatsby Scorsese movie

    • @cloudyns
      @cloudyns 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@CearesNo, seriously did you even watch the show? Eric watched Medellin and didn't like it. However he never told Vince what he though about it. He went along with Vince and said he liked it. The movie flopped and Eric then said he knew it would and Vince was pissed and that's when he told him that as his manager he needs to start behaving as such and when he doesn't like something he needs to tell him. Eric could have prevented the movie flopping so hard if he actually behaved as his manager and told him it sucked.

    I like that they changed Ari after the pilot and made him a loving husband/family man, instead of a womanizer. It makes him a good foil to literally anyone else on the show. @@brickflair8926 Supposedly, the show runners explained this scene as being one of the first interactions between Eric and Ari. Yea at first Ari is very abrasive and the boys are all seen as underdogs trying to live their dream. But none of them actually do real work, in fact Vince is never ever seen actually working. Ari is rough in S1 but over time has an actual storyline and takes real risks while the boys are mostly partying their lives away. It’s a lot easier to respect Ari by the end bc he’s faithful, hardworking, and ambitious compared to everyone else on the show.

    Ari could kick the living shit out of E, it's unrealistic that he even takes his tough talk seriousy throughout the show. It always bothered me how they present Eric as such a tough guy, when Kevin Connolly is 5'5" in real life. He doesn't look much taller on the show and he has NO muscles whatsoever. Now Ari (/Jeremy Piven) is a bit below 5'8" and ripped or at least in very good shape. It's ridiculous, a guy like him wouldn't worry for a second about getting, much less losing in a fight with E.
