I like your dive gear, a pair of jeans, your helmet, non slip elastic work gloves, and my favorite the ever famous Scubapro Jet Fin. I have been using mine now for a little over 40 years. I almost went into commercial diving. But great video. Looks like a GoPro. But it's probably something for commercial use.

Work Hard Play Hard ! Practice make perfect ! Dont let any mistakes stop you from leaning more underwater.

Average career time in commercial diving is 3-6 years or more give or take. A lot depends on each diver and how their body reacts to the conditions. It is not for everyone especially if u r clostrophobic. If not enjoy the underwater world. Only about 5-10 percent they say has been explored. Saltwater is nice and cozy, but dirty water where u can't see your hand in front of u will give u a challenge. I'm only a sport diver myself, but I have dove in pitch black condition's just to feel around and see what I find. Use your senses, be safe and enjoy. The pay check I here is very good depending on what operation u wind up with. Good Luck and God Bless.
