Now I'm kind of sad Kano didn't get the position, although she's already in another group. I didn't know it was one of her dreams to be a part of Babymetal. So that's 2 out of 3 of the avengers that dreamed of being a part of Babymetal. Kano was honestly my favorite of the avengers, but I've been very happily surprised with how good Momo has fared too. I love that she can growl too!!
@@jeremyboynowski3784 Actually maybe it's not that she "couldn't get" the position, Kano was already in another group in 2019, i'm not sure what was exactly the reason she couldn't join because she was objectively the best skilled dancer among the three girls so she had to be logically the official 3rd member, it was just a matter of time, probably she preferred to stay in her group, also the fact she couldn't go on tour overseas with the other girls due to school responsabilities maybe was a strong reason for her not to end up joining, it was really a pity. On the other hand Momo really grew on me, i like her.
@@d68st90 well what you say might be a subjective opinion, but me and many can't deny the fact that Kano was the most skilled one, you can even wonder why she was the only one featured for the 3 official live videos for Papaya, Shanti x3 and Elevator girl in the avengers era, they could have made one with each one of the three because the other girls also performed those songs live, but no, it was just Kano and it made sense because you can even watch her skills there, charisma and stage presence, she even added some of her own movements in some parts without adding too much and it was so attractive. It's nothing against Riho or something, but her movements sometimes were kinda "robotic", fluent yet robotic at the same time, i know it's weird the way i put it but it was like that, yes she was a good dancer too but that was the thing i never liked about her style. As i said before, Kano was already signed for another group :c, maybe she could have chosen to stay, however she couldn't tour overseas by that time so there was no choice.
I will say this, if Yui Mizuno doesn't return, and Momoko Okazaki isn't the new member of Babymetal, maybe Kobametal can figure out how to get Kano on the group. She gets into her performance when she is with Babymetal, she has an outside shot at it, but I know she is killing it with @ONEFIVE, so it might be a bit of a big reach. But, we know anything is possible. One thing I was wondering. What are the odds that when Mori Hayashi, AKA Mori Sensei, said Babymetal won't you give Kano one chance, he actually got her on the stage with Babymetal by saying that? It is just a thought. 🦊🦊🦊🦊
I've recently started getting into Babymetal again because of the new upcoming album. I checked the wikipedia page today and I saw that Kano and Riho have stopped being avengers since 2020. I saw that Riho started a solo career and I'm happy for her. Idk about the drama... But what about Kano? I've found confusing info...
Kano is a member of idol group @onefive with her 3 fellow Sakura Gakuin graduates from the 2019 class. They released their first studio album last year and have done a few live performances that have released on DVD. Kano also makes regular appearances on the Japanese TV show Super Invincible Class.
No need to mention specifically Momoko Okazaki i think so not to hurt anyone. And yes, objectively Kano was also the best dancer for me, it was always a pleasure to see her dancing. She also kind of added her own movements to the choreo, for example in Shanti Shanti and Papaya official MV you could see that skill
Nah she was the worst Avenger. Not hating on her but she was up to Riho let alone Momoko. She did great but her age didn't allow her to do many shows. Momoko deserved the spot the most out of the 3.
@@vegeta6555 Momo is great, she fit in with Su and Moa very well, but come on, the logical option was Kano, there's a reason she was in 3 official videos, even though there were 3 avengers and they could have made one with each of them (which would make it obvious that they were only avengers and not official members); while in SG, Kano was basically Moa but without dimples. Age had nothing to do with it since Momo is only a year older, rather the fact that she (Kano) had already been selected to be part of OneFive, which is why she didn't perform with Babymetal outside of Japan while she was an avenger (something that Momo and Riho could do it).
