There's enough stuff in the trailer that hints that, we even see the word "resurrection".

@@liu3chan yes, there are a lot of questions. The red skin, for example. Even when he says his name, he must be saying that to someone who knows him, so it's strange too.

@@Khann_2102 Yeah my opinion is that when they say "King of Iron fist resurrection" they actually mean it literally.
In the teaser we are probably looking at some sort of ritual, made by Reina and the monks to bring back Heihachi, and the Devil gene would probably play a big part.
My theory is that the Devil gene is required for the ritual, but also the gene will make Heihachi look a little younger than T7, almost as if he is brought back to its prime strenght.
This would also explain why Kazuya looks always way younger than his actual age of 50+

I love how they show you that the Mishima style training is with standing extreme heat to explain why Heihachi isn’t dead, showing that lava actually has no effect on him XD
Being dropped in lava is different than standing on a charcoal ground.

Even though non canon, presumed he survived from falling from space along with Jin and Kazuya.
And now he survived falling into lava. Heihachi has ridiculously strong endurance.

As much as I hate Akuma in Tekken 7 online, I really wish the last one was Akuma again. Since we are going to have a continuation of the story mode, see a closure for the Akuma purpose That it was opened in Tekken 7 would be cool, but sometimes it seems like only I care about the lore.

Well he did survive getting dogpiled by a bunch of Jack units and blown sky high only to land in a graveyard and sleep it off for a couple months in T5. The man's basically immortal at this point.
I love how Heihachi doesnt obey the rules of the upcoming DLC character portrait and he is just sticking out of the borders because he cant be contained. Also, if Heihachi isnt the finale DLC character for this season, then it must be a guest charcter

@@dllemm I didn't play Tekken much until recently. Mainly been a 2D player. Only 3D fighters I played were VF and Soul Calibur
did you play tekken 7? he is hard but also a king of offense. really good pokes and dmg (locked behind execution), maybe one of his downsides is that his lows are bad (well in 7 at least, in 8 that could change).
@@Madheim777 7 is when I started to try to learn the game. I messed around with 5 in the arcade every now and then but was just mashing buttons. 7 I started trying to learn right before 8 got announced but I mostly played geese and Leroy
I think it would have been funny if they introduced the character in the white tiger mask as "Not Heihachi" and just run it as a joke.

I think Heihachi actually d!ed, but he was resurrected. The guy with the white tiger mask in the trailer had grey hair, and only an X on his chest, Heihachi has dark hair again (he looks younger), his old chest scar, as well as the new fist scar from when Kazuya punched him with devil power.
Harada never lied, Heihachi actually d!ed, but in the Tekken universe weird magic stuff happens all the time, so those Tekken Monks probably resurrected him!
It's pretty funny that they included that clip at the end because it's only in hindsight that you realize that why they're all REALLY laughing is because he's just straight up lying and they KNOW it'll be a thing paid off in the future.
