Thank you for freezing to bring us this video. We get very little snow this side of the pond so thank you again for this and all your work this year!🙂🙃
Beautiful scenes of the train running through snow covered trees. I did Winter railfanning back in my younger years and remember how cold I'd get while waiting for a local train to come up the nearby branch line. I can appreciate your being out in the wind and cold, and snow to capture the A&A on its run up the line.
What spectacular winter scenery this is Matt. It looks cool when almost everything is covered in a few inches of snow. The shot of Beaver Meadow Road bridge was nice along with all other scenes. The best one was the video with the snow covered rails at 7:20. The Alco in black and yellow reminds me of Detroit & Mackinac's old Alco RS3 units. Excellent video 😁👍
Very nice winter shots; I like shooting in winter, especially when there is fresh snow. Is the A & A line mostly all 10 mph ? That Alco will last forever. Good one Matty.
I love the sound of the old Alcos, creaking and groaning. Thank you for this video.
This is the weather when conductors really earn their wages. Great sounding horn.

Winter Wonderland & Thanks For Braving The Weather For The Video
Beautiful sequences, a throwback to Currier and Ives Christmas paintings.
Arcade and Attica #114 doing a fine job pulling revenue freight in the snow. She was a bicentennial locomotive for the D&H. She sure has a nice K5LA.

Damn that looks cold from southern Arizona. Wonderful work Marty.
That ALCO used to be part of the TIOGA CENTRAL roster----I'm so glad to find out where it went! :D
Exceptionally well done!
Thank you very much! Did you get a lot of snow over in Utica?
Not nearly as much as you, basically just a dusting@@mattygunn693
Nice shots, the snow really sets them off.
I'm over in Milwaukee, and the last snow we had was 3" on Halloween!
Filming my neck of the woods today! Great wintery video!
Thank you!
7:05 ooh that's nice. Very.

@@mattygunn693 You're welcome and Merry Christmas. 🎄🎅
@@MikeG42 Merry Christmas to you as well!
Great video and Burrrrrrrrrr
Thank you!
#114 has a good home at Arcade and Attica Railroad. I guess A&A #114 is technically preserved.
Absolutely awesome! Keep it up Matty!
Thanks!
Nice, loved 7:17 shows how cold and windy it was. Thanks for covering!
Commend you for freezing your caboose off to get us these vids.
I’ll bet 114 will made use of its front plow before the winter is over in WNY. Great documentation.

Yes, they run about 10-12mph for the entire trip.
Thanks a lot!
Trains and snow...perfect for Christmas! I bet you froze ya nuts off!
Beauty made better with a Alco.
