I too was sceptical about the OutIn Nano portable brewer, but the use case was too appealing for me to resist, and I am so glad I bought one. It is a remarkable device whether you’re using fresh ground or a Nespresso pod. It has transformed my first cup of coffee at the office into something thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks for the video.
I purchased the 1zpresso J Ultra after watching your review video to pair with my Barista Express. I agree completely with your review. I make better coffee now. A couple of surprises: 1) I enjoy the workflow. It's a pleasurable experience. 2) The grinder is very easy to clean. A few knocks, puffs from the included air blower and its essentially clean. This makes it great for swapping beans. The built in BBE grinder retains over a gram and exchanges when single dosed. Thanks for all your videos. Excellent content.
DF54 has made Eureka drop their prices which is the biggest game changer, I bought one and I think it is on a par with the Niche Zero, which I also own, for half the price and I absolutely love the plastic cup because I can watch the grinds come out which is pure meditation for a coffee nerd.
From what I’ve read, they have a factory in China that supposedly focuses on the Chinese/Asian market. I’m not sure how the quality differs from the Italian factory but honestly, it’s a win win because not all coffee hobbyist value quality builds. for example, I would love a quality grinder but at the same time, what if i can get a cheaper one but with the ability to swap out burrs. and this makes it easier for us who have to be budget conscious. so yeah, coffee democracy is definitely happening.
@@TikoyTV 3 years ago you could not get a Eureka for less than £450 anywhere, you can buy one for less than £300 now, factor in inflation and that is an even bigger price drop.
@@coffeechroniclerI really don't understand the fascination with DF54. I got my Eureka Filtro Silent for 160 EUR on sale. There are big sales 3-4 times a year. The Filtro burrs are perfectly capable of espresso but if you want to buy the espresso burrs it's 15-17 EUR. An inclined base end bellows range from free if yuu 3D print them, to 15-20 from aliexpress. Alll in all it's still cheaper than the DF, while having a motor that it's twice as powerful and made in Europe. Eureka is faster, better bulilt, and I dare say the burrs are better from what I've seen
The coffee water course is a great value. I learned something and confirm that my tap water is excellent to brew coffee. I was hesitant at first to buy the course because I have a chemistry background and I’m a homebrewer (beer) and use minerals to adjust water for different styles, so already some knowledge. I'm glad I followed it
I bought a DF54 after watching your DFdisruption video. Comparing it to my once owned Rancillio Rocky I'd take the DF54. It's smaller, quieter, easier to use and dial in espresso grinds snd cheaper. I thought I'd miss a coffee hopper but I don't.The only other thing will be its ability to maintain it's functioning over time.
The water in coffee is the most interesting variable. This coffee from this specific farm will not taste the same as it does in California or Germany. Its three different coffees and the difference is stark. And we're now we're preparing water.
An underrated feature to me with the M. Apex is easy removal of water tank similar to Breville. It really does check many boxes. I wonder how you dispense water given the thermoblock arrangement for steam? I sometimes add water to my coffee and I don’t have room for a kettle at my coffee bar.
I use my kettle if I want to make an americano. I have more bicarbonate in my espresso water to buffer acidity, but in a long drink I want that acidity to shine. But if you don't have a kettle, the low tech method would be to just turn on the pump and dispense water from the group head.
As you'd recommended me the DF54 personally recently, I went and ordered it this Christmas to replace my sage grinder pro. Still waiting for delivery... Impatiently. Maybe will have the budget to replace my Bambino with the apex this year. Happy new year!
Great video. Hey coffee community, I have a timemore 064s but mainly do filter. Thinking about getting more filter focused burrs. Should I try the Lebrew filter? Or ssp? Or fellow gen 2?
Thanks! Hm, tough one. All 3 are great and would be improvements, but there are differences in price level and body:clarity between them. Lebrew filter is sitting somewhere between the two flavor-wise with the SSP having the most clarity and acidity.
Great list with the exception of the DF54. Regardless of performance, that thing looks like an elementary school art project built with a Quaker Oats canister.
@coffeechronicler truly! Told myself I wouldn't get new gear and focus on pourover with my Kingrinder K2. But with the good price for the DF54, as well as a Flair Neo Flex that was also discounted.... I *should* be set for my 2025 coffee journey. Looking forward to learning more from you, too!
Thanks for taking the time to share your picks. Always look forward to your thoughts.

Yes, it's really punching above its price class. Interesting about Eureka!
What would indicate that Eureka have dropped their prices due to the DF54? Or that they have dropped the prices at all? I don't see it

So happy to hear, thanks for sharing!
Ordered my df54 yesterday! Can’t wait!
Thank you for the discount in Coffee Water Course. 😎
Hope you enjoy it!💧
@ Watching it now! 😎 I was already planning to purchase it, so when I saw the discount, I didn’t hesitate and bought it right away.
Hope you get the 78mm lebrew filter burrs soon. Would love to hear your thoughts.
Got my df54 for around $190! Arrived last week but have yet to play with it. Excited to get started

Did you like the tiirhino basket?
Any noticeable difference from vst / ims or high extraction baskets like wafo / sworks?

I'd love to hear your opinion on the Starseeker Super58 vs the Outin
Please do some recipes/ tutorials/ tips on the outin! There is really not much on youtube!

DF54 ❤
total game changer that didn't break the bank! Thanks TCC for your review that sealed the deal for me
@@sanjaya718 great to hear the feedback!

Happy new year!
Is there a discount code for the course? I saw this mentioned above. Thanks!
Yes, if you click the link the discount should be applied automatically!
Merry New Year (Trading Places Movie Gag) Coffee Chronicle dude..
Can you tag a nicely priced and well made electric coffee grinder for me..
🎉
I can't wait for new 54mm burr sets for the df54! Any links to where this info can be found?
Miicoffee posted a photo on Instagram the other day
I think they released it on their website. Shipping to me costs 60% of what the burr costs 😂
Nice Video, what grinder is the lebrew 64 sweet mounted in?
It's the new CF64V. Before that I used the LS in the WPM ZP1 for a while.
I got the carafe and it has some pouring issues.
I got excited for a moment by the lebrew burrs but they don't (yet?) have a 50mm size for my eureka filtro 🥺
Why do you need new burrs for the Filtro? You have both solid and affordable espresso and drip options from Eureka.

as we can see on minute 6:20 your burr has also problems leaving fines and coffee on the blades
Wouldn't call that a problem. That's just realism :)
i’m surprised you picked the J Ultra over the K Ultra.
what’s your thoughts on that one ??
It's among products I reviewed in 2024; K Ultra is earlier.
