Story line wise Mikey was the most obvious choice. Mikey is the party animal of the group always positive always up beat. Which means he has the most to lose the most reason to become a dark Phoenix. A man still full of love over come by rage and the need to avenge his brothers and master/father. Honestly I expect this same style arch to occur in spider-man but somehow despite everything Pete’s held his sanity together.
It truly is sad but it's amazing. Mikey was always my favorite and I felt proud of him in The Last Ronin but it's just....despite it being good, you wish The Ronin-verse was all a nightmare and you'd wake up any minute. At least that's how I felt.
