Dude, I just love the idea that they live in this fantastical world with hills and clouds that have eyes on them, flowers that make you shoot fire out of your hands, and places called "The Mushroom Kingdom" and "The Bean kingdom" but the mere idea of a place called the Flower Kingdom existing or there being Elephant mushrooms is too much for Mario to accept.
It could be that this is part of the Terminal 7 canon, but it’s literally impossible to tell for sure.

I feel like eating a mushroom that physically transforms you into an elephant is a step beyond mere fire flowers. And that's not even mentioning the flowers that warp reality all around you!
Well of course it's hard to accept, only Elephant apples exist.
Interesting how Mario reflects the modern color scheme while Luigi reflects the cartoon color scheme.

The hat-coloured overalls always looked better. They look too realistic/boring with blue ones. Similarly, Waluigi looks better with black overalls. Purple on purple is bad.
