Rondo's behind the back pass to Ray Allen must be higher than #45. There's just no way that it can be regarded as one of the best passes of the decade (let alone his career) and only make #45 on this list.
Yeah man, I'll always have love for that dude. I feel bad for him man, because if he would have never had that hip injury he would have gotten seriously paid. Most people outside of Celtic fans don't realize how legendary of a season he had that last year in Boston. Almost winning the scoring title at 5'9" and all the sh*t he went through. One of my all time favorites for sure.
@@bobyrd4386 It boggles the mind that they literally traded him for basically no reason, outside of injury, which wasn't really that significant to Isiah's longevity in hindsight.
Dope list! You did your research! Just glad you balanced plays from the entire decade and not just ranking plays you saw recently and making a list filled with recency bias. I was thinking some 2010 Finals plays should be added but when I really look at it I think what you have ranked is solid. Keep the top play lists coming! :)
@@Caitie753 the actual play itself isn't the best of the decade but I understand the case made for it considering everything else involved (he was a rookie dunking on and taunting the best player in decades in the 4th quarter of game 7)
Great list overall but a few snubs I saw: The scramble ball movement play against the Timberwolves last year. Rondo full court bounce pass to Marcus Thornton Avery Bradley poster on Spurs Marcus Smart putback off Evan Turner miss Avery Bradley game-tying 3 against Lakers
2:15 - omg I remember what happened that night... I was out with my family at a condo in New Hampshire and we were watching the game omg... the owner of that place never let us back. 😂
I've been watching the Celtics since probably 1990, and even though they only won 1 championship, these teams were fun as hell to watch. Edit: I know it was 08 but I consider it the same team as 2010
I was there for this game @ 7:44 ... Game 2 I with the Knicks ... I remember Melo dropping like 40 or so ... The crowd was loud as heck .. I remember screaming and yelling at the top of my lungs “ DEFENSE “ , it was a good game to be at .. It was one of those games !!! No lie some actually left around half of the 3rd quarter!!
I think we should give credit to another Marcus Smart 3 pointer. He caught it in the air and shot it before he hit the ground. It was a shot clock violation which is why it's not on the list. But still, remarkable shot that I've never seen done before or since.
Tatum taunting James is #1 and Rondo’s behind the back is #45... overall, a solid list, but there are a couple areas that could use some touching up :)
Overall great list that! While I'm sure everyone could be picking about the rankings, I think you did a great job getting a little from every era. Just wish that Kyrie play was replaced with that Isaiah Thomas 3 against Miami.
I’m still mad they lost GAME 6 vs HEAT 2012 , GAME 7 Vs LAKERS 2010 and GAME 7 VS MAGIC 2009 Always came up short when it mattered I MISS BOSTON BIG 3 Ray, Peirce and KG
I can't wait for a documentary to come out in a decade or so and you hear the stars and legends go.... yeah they big name stars was cool but to be honest we was losing games to the Evan turners and and Avery Bradley's and I definetly need to hear lebron on how Jeff Green nailed that 3 over him
I was in my tiny Tokyo apartment, 8 am, when 1 happened! I thought I was witnessing the beginning of the end of LeBron...boy was I wrong! Still, we've screwed him up in quite a few of the 50, haven't we? hehehe
@@youngboomerragevictim8857 Nah dude. Dunk will always be the easiest shot available. Bam is just mad insane that he can block that with the ball almost getting at the rim.
Smart drawing the offensive foul and Jeff Green's game winner should've been higher in my opinion. I knew Paul Pierce would be in the top 3. And what about that inbound lob from Gerald Wallace to Jared Sullinger for the tip in with .2 seconds left in the 1st quarter vs the Pistons back when Brad Stevens was a rookie head coach?!
Freakin win at Miami 2013. Unbelievable. Miami has beaten by no superstar Boston Celtics. No pierce, Garnett, Allen, Terry, they're all sold out by Brooklyn.
that was great, but, not a single KG dunk? seriously? also, that Rondo spinning behind the back dart to Ray for the corner tre was voted the greatest assist of the decade on NBA.com. you ranked it 45? for real? great vid though.
Tacko entering the game should be no 1
I was there next day i lost my voice from chanting we want Tacko
Celtics All the way worth it tho
Over used and over hyped.
wouldn't be in the decade
No
Bruh philly been through hell with Boston XD
Philly deserves it though
@@matthewmccarthy9851 lol why?
Ben Durfee because philly and the 76ers suck
Philly has been making their comeback against them
Scott Lawrence when? The regular season doesn’t really mean anything

That was my first thought on this list too.
Rondo's iq is through the roof.
I made that in 1st grade but the cameras weren't on
number 10 on the list is rondo's other pass like that
List is flawed as heck but still enjoyable
The feeling of putting on That Celtics Jersey must be legendary I’m glad our players cherish the franchise and history and give 110%
Except for Kyrie

Rewatching these highlights of Tatum and Brown from a few years ago and seeing how much theyve grown is awesome
Celtics are clutch
great coaching especially from Stevens, most of them are not iso plays
Loved Isiah Thomas as a Celtic, size doesn’t matter when you work twice as hard as everyone else

Isaiah. Isiah is the pistons one.

I still get goosebumps for the Tatum dunk.
Which one lol
@@kingcourtchallenges4215 on Lebron prob
Celtic's crowd is the loudest. They scream at all plays and really support their team.
Rondo's ball fake on Udonis Haslem is drenched in sauce

I was not disappointed.

Imagine dunking on LBJ as a rookie in the playoffs 😮🐐 JT has a lot ahead of him!
6:37 is such a crazy weird but satisfying transition
6:05 I always wondered why I never saw that play considering how good of a move it was, then realized Middleton tied the game right after 😂
Rozier won it in OT tho
We need rondo back ☘️
