The whole Scrambled soundtrack is Godlike. What you wish for and Axe to Grind are both some of my favourite all time persona tracks.

It is tutorial only because tutorial2securing the route in first Jail is a flashback.
And then it begins. The ultimate deception while busting down the gates. And you can't enjoy this enough.

I love persona 5 music because it hypes up you, the player. The song isnt being song to you, its being song to your enemies, saying, this guy, the player, is so bad ass, you're done for.
And god damn it makes me feel like i can take on the world!
The Scramble remix of Blooming Villain is actually godly.
Scramble soundtrack is a lot more aggressive and rock than the original direction of P5, but it still retains some of that soft vibe. It's pretty cool.
I didn't realize it before, but I guess that's what my P5 covers are - funky rock, with lots of Rhodes and Hammond. Although I also add jazzed up chromatic guitar solos, because that's what I'm best at ;P
You should hear how they remixed last surprise. Funky rock is something i never knew i needed.
I love this songgggg, the lyric "Once bitten, twice confident" just really got stuck in my head
If you like this "Funk-Rock" then you should DEFINENTLY listen to "The King of Fighters" music!

Just recently finished Scramble, and I think Axe to Grind might be my favorite P5 battle theme, if not from the entire Persona series. The lyrics are fantastic as well.

@SoulsFanatic 2020- Personally, I thought it was better. The new characters were incredible and added so much to the dynamic of the Phantom Thieves, especially Zenkichi. It was also really cool having all of the Phantom Thieves together for the entirety of the game, meaning characters like Haru that get recruited late game, actually get some screen time and relationship development. It actually feels like a sequel and is pretty long as well (~60 hrs first playthrough, maybe even 70-80 if you’re really stingy with side quests)

I think the thing that makes this song feel Persona 5 like mostly Lyn's just incredible voice along with their amazing use of more orchestral instruments like violins and that organ as well as rockin guitars.

I remember the Persona 5 OST, when I first heard it, often subverted what I was expecting as a somewhat musical listener. And now they're doing it lyrically.
I was wondering when you would listen to this games soundtrack, simce this game iirc is also close to being released. Also, would you considering reviewing SMT III:Nocturne's OST somewhere down the line since that game is also getting a remake or maybe even SMT IV's soundtrack, both have banging OST btw.

Honestly the background songs for walking around the cities in scramble are so good
If you loved the metal-ness of this song, try Dynasty Warriors' OST. Despite it's game repetitive core, their song are among the top gems like Lu Bu's theme, "Strengh, Weakness", among other OST.

When I played the demo for p5s and I heard this song I paused it and sat there listening to the whole song and I was at a loss of words
This games soundtrack is godly and if you buy the special edition on digital you get a digital art book a behind the scenes video and the entire soundtrack
I was first unsure about the music cuz I didnt know you can use Jazz music in a Hack and Slay game but these are the words of NAIVE VERSION OF ME. I was soooo blown away of this song I couldn't possibly know that you could mix Funky Jazz music with Rock. That's my opinion why Persona 5 isn't milked out how some might think cuz it still manages capture you in to this World full of Manipulation and Corruption and than the Phantom Thieve who are the only hope again come with this song you get these emotion of power and skill where you think: ok its the time to kick some asses here.
Dang he completely skipped over the main part of the song I really wanted him to react to, which was the Last Surprise leitmotif followed inmediately by the "Srike!"

I know this an old video but you asked what P5 music feels like? So for most of the game it makes you feel cool - like instead of just having to duck your head and take bullshit you can fight back, and do so stylishly and justly.
i feel like nothing encapsulates what it's like to listen to p5 music more than "what the FUCKK."
What would it sound If I use this Daredevil instead of AC 7's original Daredevil when I'm playing AC7😂
On the side note, I would recommend Monster Hunter Music. The themes of each monster tends to tell you a lot about the monster. I would recommend Gammoth as the first theme you try.
