What an enjoyable video ! Love the Donny top and the inner yoke facing looks terrific. I so admire your ingenuity in adding the dress layer to the tunic, the finished garment looks lovely. Yes, do make the Lyra from the blue Broderie. It’s. Smashing make and I think will look really good on you. I came across your channel by accident and am so pleased I did. I love your makes the green dress is stunning and such a lovely way to recycle the urban outfitters skirt . I also love simplelife fabrics she does have some gorgeous ones that I struggle to resist, and now she’s got a sale on oh dear my bank balance is going down again lol

Your Donny shirt looks very nice! I would definitely have to lengthen mine because I don't like the length of the Donny shirts made as is. Have a blessed week and happy sewing. 🧵

@TheWillowtreeGreen People love that shirt in the most I hear are adjustments in the length. I have poo poo'd off the shirt because of the length of it, but now I know I can lengthen it, and it make it look great.
I’ve just discovered both the Patina and the Donny, I’m on my third Patina now! I have another fabric for the Donny which is only a metre, but it is wide, so I’m hoping I can get it out of that as adding 2”!! I love your version of the Donny 🤩

Lovely vlog and I love your Donny shirt which was initially on my list for my recent video and now I am doubting myself lol I might put it back on ahah the joy of being bombarded with patterns and fabrics from every angle lol (I also bought fabrics from Rachel destash page recently, she has the most beautiful fabrics and I really need to unsub her page) - well done on sewing up your stash, I am on a fabric ban for now as really need to sew up a big chunk of my stash so will see how that goes! @@kadycrea Thank you, both the Donny and the patina have become firm favourites of mine! I know what you mean about Rachel’s detstash page 😂 I have to scroll quickly past them. I’m probably at maximum capacity on my fabric again so will have to slow down on the purchases 🤣
