Thanks for your video, it helped me. My car didn't want to work well. I put the scanner on it. I watched your video and bought the sensor (maf). Thank you.
Thanks for this. Was just gifted a sonic 2013 with 105k miles. My aunt did say once when driving in the summer heat for 2 or 3 hours straight it had an idle issue where she had to keep her foot on the gas while in neutral. So far what I've heard is it could be a dirty throttle body or maf sensor. This looks like a very easy job so may just order a new one if they aren't too pricey. Thanks. I do have to say I'm not a fan of all the torx screws on the sonic. Guess I'll have to invest in a torx set, may have some with my drill but don't want to have to use a drill every time I work on my car.
I took my Chevy Cruze 2017 to get new brakes. Then had a knocking front right every time I brake. They suggested wheel bearing and cv axles. The noise was still there so the put my car back together with my original parts. They told me it’s the transmission. Can changing the fluid save my transmission?
Thanks so much on this. im going to do some work on my 2014 and yhis video is very helpful. No fluff and a recommendation. 10/10
i recommend having a flat head screwdriver to be able to pry out the sensor, the older the sensor the harder it is to pull out 0:47
Another underrated channel.

My 2020 Chevy sonic RS doesn’t have the red clip on the sensor is it bad?
As long as the plug clips not broken its fine.
Great! Strait to the point

Not if it's knocking
Thank you
Most likely your cv axle is damaged though. Does it knock when you make a hard turn?
Couldn't get mine off the plug, any idea what I should try? 😂
It has a little clip you need to pop out before you can push the tab down to release the plug

I replaced my sensor but now my car struggles to start when its cold.
You need a computer scanner to see if there are any error codes stored on your computer. Why did you replace the sensor? Was it a guess?
