Thanks for the help! Putting that long spring back into the firing mechanism is a pain I'll agree. I used a piece of tight fitting (oiled) heat shrink tubing cut to fit just below the saddle for the spring tip which allowed the spring to compress in a nice stack and the tip to snap into place. Once in place I cut the tubing off with an Exacto knife.
No I don't think so. There are others out there that do. In this case pull out the follower from the stock, put rounds in the hole in the stock reinstall the follower, then pull back the bolt under the gun since it is bottom eject.
I have this model too . It is great . Just having problem when I put the 22 lr stinger , it looks the chamber is not long enough, no free bore .The un fired ammo sticks in chamber and I need more effort to take it out . The extractor and spring are in good condition . any way , it fires and cycles all kinds of ammunition .
In this one you pull the follower out, unscrew the screw running through the stock, comes out at the bottom where the grip is. Then it should be free to slide out leaving the rest of the mag tube connected to the gun. Look at an exploded parts diagram for a better understanding.
I have a rifle similar to this one but out of nowhere it stopped feeding the ammunition, sometimes it feeds but it doesn't close completely, could it be a spring? and all cleaning is up to date on the equipment, can anyone help me?
@@Stray03 I cleaned all the internal blocks and greased them with graphite powder, reassembled everything and detailed it here in Brazil, the ammunition comes with a small sera at the tip of the project, so it turns and moves, I have to use fine sandpaper on the barrel to burnish it.

hey everyone I have multiple questions, I have x2 of the back half of gun only, I believe both are model 24, and one of each long and short bullet, I need barrels and forearm grips for both, i found a forearm grip for a long 22, but will it fit either barrel?, and my other questions are, I see these adjustment rings, but I see larger single adjustment rings too, are the barrels the same, and will either style fit mine?, i do not have the receiver with the adjustable guts, it's fixed, and no markings on receiver except right under barral hole, there's a patent number or something, one receiver has 4 numbers, the other has 5, are the forearm grips the same for all versions? 24-late241?, my next question is, what parts will swap off the browning sa 22?, will the barrel and forearm grip fit my remington 24? anyone got a barral or two that don't have a bulge 4" up from threads??, i found a complete parts gun, but the barrel has a large bulge in it and i dont want to pay the ffl fees and register something Im going to trash as the serial numbers are on barrel from what im told, thanks for any info

Thanks for the vid, it was very entertaining. I had a mad idea. Do you suppose one of the Norinco clones could be converted to feed box magazines from the top? I realize this may give purists heart attacks. :p
martK banjoboy I'd say it could, And if you were going to do that (Assuming I could get a clone for 50$) I'd go with the Calico mags, or an A-180 mag Although it would involve some sight replacement. Could be a cool Idea (only with the clones though).
Don’t think so. The cartridges are pushed from the back with that plunjer in a tube. So you would have to be able to feed straight with pressure from the back. I

merci pour la vidéos ça faisait 12 heures que je voulais remonté le mécanisme et je croyais que j'avais perdu une pièce

Does it fire short and 22 long ?
Is the chamber the only difference the A model and T ?

Remington model 22 version. How do you take stock off?
If it is a sa-22 derivative you pull out mag tube follower and unscrew screw that sticks out the mid bottom of stock.

Have the exact same rifle... how much do you think it should cost now??
In Belgium you can buy these between 50-200€ . Gun law obliges a gun license ( 100$) because they are semi automatic. Sport shooters discard from it.
