- This is a gift to all the people that asked me to cover Prichan's fashion! I think the design had some unique ideas but grew a bit ambitious in terms of design.
This prioritised the anime performance coords, and excluded legacy characters. Prichan coords can be pretty busy and wild, which makes for some unique looks. The ambition isn't bad but it also leads to some of the biggest, overdesigned dresses.

BUT JK I like that they gave each of the girls in a different alternative fashion style
I literally love this show but it’s true that the coords in season 3 go completely down hill in terms of the climax coords that they use. I’m glad I’m not the only one who think the Princess Coords are hideous 😂😂😂😂

The princess coords were all trainwrecks😅 kinda shows fir the seasons while quality tbh
The wings for miracle kiratts in their illuminage coords were unnecessary and extra. And the fact they only have the wings was a dead giveaway that they were going to win this whole tournament.
It was all so busy. I was also disappointed that it was just another white dress. Solami Smile got amazing golden dresses that were way better.
They could've been so much more creative
My favorite PriChan coords (shown in the anime)- SweetHoney Kiratto Coord, Sweet Honey florist coord, the Rinka gothic dress unit coords, RingMaery rabbit coords, Daia's coords, legacy characters new performance coords, Mel's dress with hat, season 3 mascot coords, punk cat, Anna's jewel coord, Mel's jewel coord, Alice's coord,
The Prism Stone default coords of all 3 season are super cute. Season 3 has the bet one with the little boater hat (PriChanLand Cast Coords)
Not fond of the infamous Summer Maid coords which are basically public lingerie. Bell's red violin coord from Rainbow Live is lingerie-like too, but is not as bad for some reason.
As for 'big' coords, the Diamond Coord (and black recolour in the game) are good. But the Illuminage coords are bad.
This was a fun, detailed and well discussed video ^^ I think you inspired me to do a fashion video not only for Prichan but also Rainbow Live and Aikatsu in the future ^^ I think I'll just put my all time favourite outfits from these series ^^ You brought up some really great and fair points on the outfits from each season ^^ if I were to rank the outfits from each season I would say Season 2 at the top, Season 1 in second and season 3 in third ^^ Great video as always ^^

honestly I've never been a huge fan of Pripara or Prichan's coords. The dresses silhouettes are too big and gaudy, and then there's the color palettes and patterns. It feels like the designers just through random buckets of paint at the dresses and sees what sticks. They're too messy for me.
That said, there are some nice coords, like the Jewel Dresses (I don't pay attention to the coord names so forgive me) from season 2 are gorgeous, and I do like Mirai's initial Kiratto Prichan dress!
I think pripara a designs only got overwhelming in the last season ? In rewatching so I don’t quite remember, but I know the first 2/3? Seasons were incredible design wise

The fashion is my main interest in this kind of animes and I think the same as you about the evolution of the coords

I agree that most of the illuminage coords are awful. Eve's is the only one that looks good to me
I always felt like the cords get worse as the shows go on, I mean Pripara was the same way considering the coords stopped looking unique and were extremely flashy in the later seasons, but I’m really hard on Pripara considering I lost interest in it when I realized SoLaMi Smile was always going to be the winners. I do like the early coords in season 1 and season 2 of PriPara and PriChan, but later I just feel like the coords weren’t good.
The Dream Theatre coords were very goofy but I felt the Super Cyalume Coords were a HUGE step up. It was like the best the brand has to offer
Yeah. The season 3 outfits were the worst. Season 1 and 2 had some of the best outfits.
With Daia’s race-change thing, yeah. That definitely wasn’t okay.
It's a shame too. The design creep was so insane
@@cureice the Parade Illuminage coords would’ve been so much better if they included the color variants from the arcade. There was a purple and blue variant. (Purple for Melpan and Blue for Rabbily.)
They've done it before too. The Noble Doll coords started out as blue for Sara and Anna. Then they used red, blue and green when they wore them as a unit
@@cureice yeah. The group Kiratto Coords were also like this. They had different color variants in the arcade that fit each character. For Miracke Kirrats there was a blue Recolor for Emo, and a purple Recolor for Rinka. For the Meltic Star Kiratto Coord, there was a green Recolor for Sara and a purple Recolor for Mel. These seem to fit better then the basic color that they were given originally.
I think it was less meant as a race change and was instead meant to be "Gyaru style"
It doesn't come off well though, the whole style is kinda taboo. Really should have been done better
well i think season just need a little bit of work. because maybe they don't need to go extra if they didn't go extra maybe it will be better.
Am I the only one who hated a lot of season 1’s designs too?😭 overall I think kiratto had the worst designs in the entire pretty series
There were exceptions like rinkas sparkle dress , and Anjus outfits but overall… I hated alot
I would agree but... I guess they had a fun yet simple aesthetic. I get what you mean though. Now I'm curious what you think of Primagi's fashion in the anime since its also a colour coded season with simple starting outfits
