I love when most of the teaching revolves around structures, connections, leverage, it brings the whole game back down to physics rather than physique and strength
Interesting, I learned this from Brandon Mccaghren of 10P Decatur. I teach this as an option to begin the pathway to reguard by bringing the near side knee to elbow. On the top side to defend I like to go north/south to kill the shoulder or chase the back if they don’t go flat. I like the way you defended the head control and controlled space with your head placement. I’ll def be trying this.
BABY BRIDGE! Omg it is great seeing the baby bridge everywhere. sbg got fantastic smart instructors and coaches. This is priit mikhelson (another SBG Thornton BB) baby bridge or 'outside shoulder escape'

Once again, Iearned more about bjj in a few minutes than I learned the off and on bjj training for the last 20 years with 15 different instructors.
Thanks Professor for sharing ,This is GOLD!

Really interesting ! I can see some common points with the way John Danaher does his rising shrimp.
Brilliant research!
What’s stopping them from moving to mount if your leg isn’t up though?
Nice, thanks! :)
I think I asked this before but it looks like it would be easy for the top guy to go to knee on belly. How would you handle knee on belly?
take a look at Priit Mihkelson and Wim Deputter Baby Bridge - the angle makes it extremely awkward to mount or attack
Probably a dumb question but aren't you giving her the mount?
The far side underhook (his left arm), makes that very difficult. As soon as someone starts to lift up escapes are available.
