Before hearing the soundtrack: You enter CM first time. You just see: Li Ai, Keeper of the peak. After fighting the boss and finally able to listen to the music and not having to concentrate all the time on the boss: Your mind thinks: Li Ai, Creepy of the Peak.
The composer, Maclaine Diemer, hinted in a post on Twitter/Instagram that the fractal music hints at things to come. What he means by that exactly I don't know, but who knows, maybe we get more of this..
I really dislike those "Oh we put only these drums and a bit cling here clang there" soundtracks. There are alot of those low effort fighting musics in the game.
That moment when your guilt grows so strong, it manifests into reality to kill those around you in an attempt to feed itself.
I was to focused to notice that the music was diffrent on CM :P

nah, this is fractal music, EoD should have more asian tone
It's probably just for fractal, but I'd not mind such strange, creepy tracks at all. :)
@@RealMartie The Taiko drums are definitely asian-inspired, but I'm sure they'll bring in more asian instruments for EoD.
