The 74-s was an unusual case: it was released late and dealers thought that it would be a proof only issue. The price set up to about $8 per coin and the coins were boarded when they were finally released The Mint responded by mixing lots of them in p and d bags and distributed them nationwide. I was able to find a few in Georgia, but I did get a couple of rolls in los Angeles in Dec 1974 during a band trip to the rose bowl parade it was a big deal for me
Fun series . It would be really interesting to see you finish putting everything away... how you store them, flip some up, put some in the "Sell" pile, etc. As always, fun times, great content, thumbs up👍❗️
That was a fun hunt! The excitement of not knowing what you might find next. You never know, might have opened one of those envelopes and found an 1893 S Morgan Dollar. Well, we can wish!😊
I like these type of videos that you do Rob. It's something different from what you normally do for this channel and I would love to see more yard sale coin collection videos in the future.
Amazing to find stuff unopened since the day it was bought. I've run into that with proof sets from the 60's still in their stamped/dated shipping packages from the Mint. I really enjoy these old collection breakdowns- perhaps even more than the roll searches- not just for the treasure-hunting aspect but for the knowledge you impart. A 45-minute video of such a hunt would be fine with me, man. Your enthusiasm is contagious, thanks.
Nice little series of videos Rob! Neat little bag at the end here with a variety adds some excitement to the hunt. I need to find little collections like this to go through, would be fun!
Put more coins under the scope. I will watch a long coin videos explaining the different variety of coins. Love your videos no matter how long they are.
I enjoy each and every variety of videos you create Rob! You always keep it varied, fun, and interesting! I know you don't really like to nicodate, but you have plenty of dateless buffalo nickels for a nicodate video. Would love to see that if you're inclined to do so.
Hi Rob, I have stamps from my Dad who collected when he was a kid in the 30's and 40's. A bunch! I know stamps aren't a big money item but I'm sure there are some that are worth keeping. Pointers on where to start to assess if anything is valuable? He also left me his coins - I am so grateful for that - got me back into coin collecting after he passed when I saw his Littleton ASE which I thought was the most beautiful design I've ever seen. When I was a kid we'd go thru our change looking for silver and wheaties back in the late 60's. Brought back memories.
Great video nice collection congratulations on getting 3 silver coins and large cents and to bad those 1909 vdb didn't have s mint marks thanks for sharing Rob
I would love a closer in-depth look at the foreign coins. Foreign coins are some of my favorite, you never get tired of them because there's so many countries and designs. That collection looked cool as well, I like little goodie bag hunts like that!
I found the brother to that 1888 seated dime you got. Same year and it has a hole punched into it, but mine is in the top by the head. I found it in the register at work a couple months back! Stellar find!
That was cool lots of great goodies i was like a kid in a candy store I enjoyed that hunt when you buy blind like that you never know what you will find
My son and I enjoy all of your videos we hunt mainly half dollars and we are also going to start melting copper here soon we just need to get a couple more molds now. Keep up the great content.
Rob I am sure I talk for many of us on this but we don't care how long it takes. I personally would rather see you go through the coins and inform us on what you see as you find them. The more info you tell us the better. If anyone else feels the same chime in in the comments. I am sure he hears only the complainers more than us who like the longer vids.
A video with the microscope would be awesome watching you looking for varieties . Also you seem to now have a light glare on your screen from microscope, what settings do you have ? Mine keeps having a glare of light i can't seem to get rid of it
Hey Rob. So remind me, are you chasing a 1960 Denver Jefferson? I have a decent looking one with a clean mint. I’d like to send it to you if it is in fact what you are missing. Love your content. Thanks.
I’d love it if you would explain why you think that 1943S cent was replated. I have several and there are some really clean ones with nice luster in flips from my late uncle’s collection-someone told me they might be replated.
Those stamps are from the 1938 presidental series and very common even unused and of little value. Letter stamp prices at the time were 2-3 cents and we're printed in the millions. Cool coin finds though and certainly of more value and variety than the stamps.

Would love to see you scope for varieties!
I love the longer videos, I could watch you go thru coins for hours!!
That collector really loved his 1974-S cents.
LMAO - many penny hunters have a hard time finding them in nice shape UNLESS you live on the west coast.
Probably a significant birth year in the family.
@swilliams937 Actually the 74 S was the last year for S circulation!
The 74-s was an unusual case: it was released late and dealers thought that it would be a proof only issue. One of those 1974 S would definitely be an upgrade to my collection.
Part 3 was definitely the grand finale of this 3 part hunt. It was definitely my favorite one to watch and had a lot of fun watching it.
Fun series . It would be really interesting to see you finish putting everything away... how you store them, flip some up, put some in the "Sell" pile, etc. As always, fun times, great content, thumbs up👍❗️

Nice bag a goodies to go with the rest of that collection Rob 👍
Fun..entertaining...educational...another one well done!
Thank you.
Fun as expected. Thanks for sharing... Happy Hunting! Stephen!
I like these type of videos that you do Rob. It's something different from what you normally do for this channel and I would love to see more yard sale coin collection videos in the future.
Noted. I’m trying to do more of these since lugging boxes of coins around all the time has been tougher lately.
Amazing to find stuff unopened since the day it was bought. I've run into that with proof sets from the 60's still in their stamped/dated shipping packages from the Mint. Very cool, homie! I enjoy the hunt...always fun.
That was a very fun collection to go through. 😎
Thank you 😁
That vintage bank bag is pretty cool too
I agree!
Lol, I was going to post the same thing!
Put more coins under the scope. I will watch a long coin videos explaining the different variety of coins. Love your videos no matter how long they are.
Agreed
I would have so much fun going through a collection like this. Second best is watching Rob doing it. Good stuff
I cannot speak for others, but I really enjoyed this hunt. I was not worried about the length of the video. I had fun watching it!
What a way to spend an evening! I'm going through some of my newly found coins tonight as I'm watching you going through your newly acquired coins😀
That is awesome! Have fun!
Excellent search though the miscellaneous goodies. Nice to find two cent piece and seated silver coin. These kind of collections are fun to explore.
You did really well!! Don't find Masonic stuff very often thats a great find for sure! Looking forward to your next video Rob!!
I enjoy each and every variety of videos you create Rob! You always keep it varied, fun, and interesting! I know you don't really like to nicodate, but you have plenty of dateless buffalo nickels for a nicodate video. Would love to see that if you're inclined to do so.
Just discovered your channel and I’m totally digging it. I too don’t care how long the vids are, the more info the better.
Love this kind of video Rob. More like it when you can 😊
Great video. I always love to look through other people's change at work. They come to me asking if they have anything special.
Congratulations on your collection purchase. Good variety of coins to keep. Nice video.
Keep on gathering those oldies. They make nice starter sets.
love the detail on the 46 large despite how cleaned it looks, more collection hunt videos please!
nice departure from your usual hunts, great job
Thanks 👍
I always enjoy those foreign hunts. I find them entertaining and informative. \
Would like to see more of these videos. Thanks Rob
Cool mixture of coins in that bag. Thank you for sharing.
Love the collection buys. More please
Yes I want to see more of the old coin collection bag.
👍Nice longer hunt .

That's some good goodies right there...
I hope we get to see one of those VDBs in your auctions!
Thanks for bringing me a great way to spend 22:31 on a Wednesday afternoon, Rob!😀
Great video nice collection congratulations on getting 3 silver coins and large cents and to bad those 1909 vdb didn't have s mint marks thanks for sharing Rob
Nice bag of goodies 😋 👌
Great hunt. Kept on going!
Fun collection to go through!
A neat hunt, you never know what you will find.
Yeah getting knowledge of varieties and what to look for is great.
Nice purchase! Keep the videos coming!
Pretty cool stuff. Hopefully I can get a large cent for my collection soon.
Nice 👍 love those large cents.
I just found my first Celia Cruz quarter today! A Philadelphia minted one.
Great hunt good sir
yes that was a great video.
Glad you enjoyed it
More like this and stamps too
I would love a closer in-depth look at the foreign coins. Foreign coins are some of my favorite, you never get tired of them because there's so many countries and designs. That collection looked cool as well, I like little goodie bag hunts like that!
Nice finds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello sr lot of old us coins.
Interesting and blessings
The 2c and 3c Prexies are really common and can be used for postage. The coins were much better than what I would expect to see in any accumulation.
First class rate was 3 cents from 1932 to 1958,so definitely common.
That was cool lots of great goodies i was like a kid in a candy store I enjoyed that hunt when you buy blind like that you never know what you will find
Fun hunt to watch.
I would definitely like to see more coin videos.
Yes,please show collections,& accumations purchased.
My son and I enjoy all of your videos we hunt mainly half dollars and we are also going to start melting copper here soon we just need to get a couple more molds now. Keep up the great content.
That is awesome! Thank you!
Pretty cool!
That's a bank bag 💰 full of goodies. 🤓
I'd like to see your large cent collection!
Noted!
an ok collection. nice vdb cents. don't care for stamps unless they are the upside down airplane ones.
Rob I am sure I talk for many of us on this but we don't care how long it takes. I personally would rather see you go through the coins and inform us on what you see as you find them. I like the bank bag
Me too!
So much fun
Indian Head V Nickel, that'd be a new one. >>;=) Cool mix of things in this bag, and nice deal on the VDBs.
Cool collection
Years ago you could order coins and stamps from ads in the back of the TV GUIDE
Likely what a lot of this was.
I just wanna ask Rob what do you do with all the proof coins you find do you a jar or a folder for them
Roll them up by denomination UNLESS they upgrade something I have in an album.
Righteous!!
Totally awesome dude! 😊
Hey Rob. So remind me, are you chasing a 1960 Denver Jefferson? I have a decent looking one with a clean mint. I’d like to send it to you if it is in fact what you are missing. Love your content. Thanks.
YAY NEW VID!
About right like you said when you’re dealing with Littleton, nice video though.
Guessing most of the silver was removed
I’d love it if you would explain why you think that 1943S cent was replated. I have several and there are some really clean ones with nice luster in flips from my late uncle’s collection-someone told me they might be replated.
On the 1909 VDB penny @20:49 on the reverse is that a die crack on the 4 O-Clock spot that protrudes into the lower right hand wheat stalk??
Very useful information ^^
Nice score!
Thanks!
You never mentioned what you got that bag for do you think you made out on the bag or got took. Just wondering?
I believe I did well, plus I had fun searching it!
Awesome stuff
Those stamps are from the 1938 presidental series and very common even unused and of little value. Letter stamp prices at the time were 2-3 cents and we're printed in the millions. Cool coin finds though and certainly of more value and variety than the stamps.
Good stuff
Show your stamp collection ❤
3:46 “1997 Liberty V Nickel” 💀
Doh!
Had a feeling the better coins were in the bank bag ! But why never disclose what you paid for that collection ?
I usually do. Sometimes it’s best not to always share everything.
Sounds like a twenty dollar bill would have bought that bag👍@@RobFindsTreasure
Fun hunt! BTW, the stamps basically worthless. You can buy stamps from the 1930s at or below face value. Old doesn't mean valuable!
nice
Now to sell 1982 or older pennies?
How*?
0:22 "part 22" 😅😅
Was it good value for how much you paid for it
Yes.
Unfortunately stamps tanked in value. Unless you have a rare one, they are basically worth postage.
I know. It’s why I stopped collecting years ago. I’ve forgotten most of what I used to know except when I see some and remember.
Boom
1 second off!
