Sample of Todd La Torre recording drums for the song "Portrait" from Queensryche's 2019 album The Verdict. Recorded at Uberbeatz Studios, Washington Mixed and Produced by Zeuss
Am I hearing a real snare or is it triggered ? In my studio work, I use triggering for support mixed with real snare and room mics of course, but I always wonder how to get a real snare to sound like a trigger LOL Must be a great sounding snare drum to start which I rarely encounter.
Talented dude. Best thing to happen to this band.
Love watching you on the drums, Todd! So much talent.
A one-man metal whirlwind you are, Todd. 🤘🏼❤️🔥
TLT just single handedly replaced the two Queensryche members I thought were irreplaceable. Kudos!
I'm here now on the correct one...lol Thanks for sharing this with your Fans Todd! A Great Singer and a fantastic Drummer!
The drums sound so f-ing good on this album!
Flawless!! You're among the best of the best in the music business Todd!
So awesome. Thanks for sharing Todd.
Great drum work Todd. You did an outstanding job on the entire record.
Makes me proud to see this. You're an inspiration Todd!
Drums are tight on this.
You are one seriously talented dude! Keep up the good work! Love the new album btw.
Favorite part of my favorite song on the album :)
Awesome 👏 very smooth, timing impeccable. Was it weird playing along with your vocal track?
Todd also played the guitar solo if I'm not mistaken. :)
I did the solo and some other lead ear candy you hear. Michael did chords during the prechorus and chorus.
Ripping it. Great stuff. 👍
Awesome!
This is EPIC! Hey Todd, did you drum on the entire album?
Hi, yes I did all the drumming on The Verdict. Thx!
Amazing
Great job!
Great stuff! See you again in Athens, soon!
Sunglasses on while recording the drums... fuckin' dope.
Love the Hi-hat work and Zuess makes the drums on these Queensryche albums sound killer.
Great drumming although I hope Scott get get himself clean and return to the drum stool
