I am an independent agent in Texas w P and C license, I spend a lot of money monthly but I do it way diff here in Texas w how I run things. I was even by myself and still am! But everyone's situation is diff
I very much appreciate these videos! Im starting to brainstorm opening an agency out of Phoenix Az been an agent for over 7years. I'd love to hear how to approach appointments. Hope to see something soon on this Chris!
Build relationships with the carriers. If they know you then that’s a good thing. You should call them and let them know what you plan on doing. They’re more likely to appoint you than someone who they don’t know who’s applying. After you do your due diligence you’ll know who will give it to you and who won’t. There’s always carriers that will appoint new agencies so you may have to start off with those and go after the clients that fit your carriers appetite. Most important thing is to actually get started. If you know how to get business you’ll do just fine because you can probably sell less and make more since you’re keeping 100%
My biggest issue is wanting to write business in my home state and resident state; which I know is feasible but having issues figuring out the LLC formation etc in each state. Anyway we could sync over a zoom meeting soon?
@@antonioturner8485 you don’t need to form an LLC for each state. You just extend your license out. Happy to do a call with you if you’re interested. Here’s a link to my site: ChrisCostantini.com
You shouldn’t include producers salary that is commission only the base guarantee that the agency is obligated to pay them every month regardless of they sell or not.
Hi chris i really appreciate the effort you put into each video. I sell car and home insurance here in vancouver. In your last video you said its hard to sell any car insurance policy in California. Whats happening?
@@anthonymaestas8876 That didn’t make sense me to either. Amount of payroll will be solely based on premium written plus a small bit of w2 payroll. Wish he would go over actual numbers.

Could you explain how do you pay your employees? I thought they are on 100% commission based payroll.
@@altombichos9352 it’s a salary base plus commission

Tutto work for life leads?
@@jacoblockk Tutto is a CRM so if you upload life insurance data into it, you can definitely generate a lot of leads
Is Tutto a replacement for Ezlynx or a completely separate software ?
@@jackbivens2870 it’s a separate software. You need Ezlynx to manage active clients. Tutto is the CRM which manages and nurtures leads / prospects
Solid to see your growth man. I’ll go back and watch your videos and it’s crazy to see the growth
