Rotem, you beautifully articulate the feeling of the notes, the scales and the emotion they evoke with both your words and you fingers! Excellent! Thank you!
I've noticed many times when I'm scat sing doodling, working melody for a song a majority of the time it's a major pentatonic sound . I've wondered if humans default to that sound primally. Mentally singing as we fret the notes. Thanks such righteous content, and it literally inspired a song as well 🙏🙏
Hey I love your new album!!! For the lack of a better word, it sounds so human! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and creativity thru youtube and albums. And thank you for showing the way towards real human music in all the noise of today with tons of gear and AI and all of that
Great Video as always Rotem. What's great about the Minor Pentatonic Scale in particular is the fact that not only is it one of, if not the First Scale that Guitarists learn but, it also falls under the fingers very Naturally. Plus, there are many ways to Superimpose a Minor Pentatonic Scale over Major, Minor, Dominant, and Half-Diminished Chords. Also, even though it's a Scale, it only has 5 notes, which makes it Similar to some Arpeggios, that's why depending on how you Superimpose it, it's easy to Imply Chords with it. For anyone that's interested, please check out the Pentatonic Books by Steve Khan, Bruce Saunders, Jerry Bergonzi and Ramon Ricker. Thanks.
You’re a wonderful player and teacher, and that’s a beautiful Gibson, and I wish you would take the gaff tape off the ramp and use double sided tape to hold it in place. The guitar is too beautiful and it’s banging my OCD. LOL
Feel like the video i needed to break out of my rut ! Thank you so much ! Hardest part will be to switch to ôtther keys after working in c for so long . That would be an interesting topic for Another video! Great album btw
1:16 the major pentatonic itself is one of the most popular tune from my country, Bangladesh ( a country in the indian subcontinent...😍) th-cam.com/video/wGM9_JyyQNw/w-d-xo.html

Great video!
Thanks!
Thanks!! 🙏🙏
Point nine almost sounds like bagpipes with the drones going.
Thanks
At 2:42 you say the minor pentatonic is 1-2-b3-4-5-b7. That is 6 notes. It does not include the 2 correct?
No 2 - sorry! 1-b3-4-5-b7 🙏
2:57 Why do you play the 2 in minor pentatonic?
What is that wrapped around the nut and tuner peg area of your guitar? Looks like a rubber band? What is its purpose?
Btw Rotem - am I right in thinking there’s a Led Zep ‘Kashmir’ thing going on in Lore Love on the new album?
Is the string around the nut/headstock there for any particular reason? I’ve seen another jazz guitarist on yt do this also.
Yes! Enquiring minds wanna know!
Please tell us.
@@Handle-q6x to stop string buzz I think?
What guitar is that? It has such a sweet tone
Will the new album be on CD? Thanks
Childhood is learning pentatonocs
Adolescence is rejecting pentatonics for scales
Adulthood is returning to pentatonics cause they’re so useful

Oh wow!! Cool!
'steak or cakes' either way would soon wind up diminished !😋
I keep seeing people call the major scale the minor pentatonic. Weird
