Since you are part of a isu artifact, and since you can see past, present and future; this can lead to a brand new AC content where Desmond, you can use your power to explore any memories you want. And this way we could again revisit some old AC characters like Altair, Ezio, Edward, Bayek or some other characters. It could be really a fascinating idea

I feel so exhausted after a couple hours every time I try to get back into Valhalla. I just don't care. Which sucks because AC was once my favorite series.

The main game was entirely dedicated to the historical place. And now Ubisoft continues to develop the history of ancient civilization through the prism of mythology.
Remember when this game was about ancient civilization Isu that created humans and after their doom assassins fought with templars using their artifacts? Yeah, it still continues, but you are too stupid to admit it
There are only 2 true big differences between old and new AC games : changed genre of the game from action game (old) to action rpg (new) and bigger focus on Isu history (new) than on assassins vs templars history (old), which doesn't mean that the other history is completely abandoned : in older games we had Isu plots too and in newer games we learned how assassins and templar order started
Newer games still follow AC lore adding more meaning to it, it's just how it is, I don't know what's so painful to understand it

@@Myrmidons because it's been part of AC since the 1st game, and having a hidden blade, Assassin legacy outfits but no hood on just isn't AC, your reason not wanting it doesn't make sense since Bayek had that and he wasn't an Assassin for most of the main game, and even the Eagle Bearer has hooded combat

Valve takes 30% of the sale price for games sold on Steam. Imagine Ubi selling 1M copies of a game at $60. That would be $18 millions straight into Valve's pockets if sold on Steam. Valve wouldn't even have to provide servers since you have to go through Ubisoft Connect anyway.
That's why the stopped using Steam, and you would have done the same if it was your company.

Ubisoft fix the God damn festival a lot of us xbox players have ran into glitches with the festival for 1 the arena is glitches to the point you can't even play it 2 the game crashes constantly and 3 some of us can't even get into the game anymore cause before the world loads in the game crashes fix this

Recently it's just been the stories of guys and girls who get a hidden blad or wrist blade and pretend to be an assassin where as everyone wants to be in a assassin order again like how it used to be, we get that the Isu are a main plot but you can have that and assassin's Creed in one but all they have been doing is expanding on top of that

Ubisoft, don't expect people to buy your new games after you remove the DLCs people PAID for. After all, when you want, you can remove AC: Valhalla, Skull & Bones DLCs too when they get less popular after a few years.
Finished it and not sure what to think. Odin's overall arc was a bit unsatisfactory. Treatment for the actual ending of the game will I hope be even better.
I wish they’d do a storyline about a split in the assassins order as they developed from the hidden ones in origins. Like imagine playing as a charachter and having to deal with the politics of say an assassin that actually manages to split the order in half with their extreme ideals and also with the templars or whatever they’re called at that point. Story wise could make for an interesting one, gameplay wise you’d have different territories and different enemies to look out for 🤷🏻♂️
Also would be cool to play as an actual assassin in the next game??

at first i was not into this,as i am not into any rogue-likes/-lites but since i also played ragnarok i wanted to know how the story progressed on that front,so eventually i jumped to it and boy had i hard time quitting it

I like Valhalla, but not this fantasy mythology stuff. I wished they came out with a dlc in eivors past with the petty kingdoms of Norway fighting over territory, untill his capture by kjotve. More realistic.
