Steve used to be my least favorite character but now he’s my most favorite character because underneath his surface comedic goofy self there’s a really deep feeling person maybe the deepest on the whole show

If you people want to rag on this show and call it corny and criticize how old the actors and actresses look, then why do you watch it?? If you aren’t gen X you won’t understand this show so go watch degrassi or something else more in your age bracket!!! 🤣😂✌🏻
I also get a little annoyed when people call it corny, but there's no denying some of the actors (not all of them) are too old to play high school students. Even when the show was new thirty plus years ago people would complain about that 😂😂
@@kiranolan7104 I know that Carteris was.. I just don’t know why she wasn’t fired for lying to the producers about her age. Shannon was fired and she was one of the more relevant characters.. Andrea just annoyed me lol
This Pretty Woman stuff. Yeah I know. I saw it in 89. I know thst scene. The necklace. Quarter million dollars . I think if I'm right, that was HIRED out for the opera. Steve may be a virgin in alot of ways , he ain't that innocent.
As a millenial I SAW this bits and pieces as a kid but the OC Was my.generatio. of 90210. This was shot in Beverly hills whilebwas shot in HUNTINGTON Beach.
You can’t spell gold without G O D. I don’t understand what Steve means when he says he doesn’t understand what he’s saying because he’s saying that he’s not a lawyer but he’s a judge. Brandon was a ghost and he’s been on the phone for two years and he’s been doing this since I talk to you last week
Steve is too cheerful and doesn't appear intellectual, or mysterious enough for Brenda. But I personally liked him as he matured the most towards the end of the show.
@@lunallena5594 Yes it's true, but in season 4 when Steve and Brenda were in conflict about Laura, who was Steve's girlfriend and who had not gotten the leading role, there was a rage between Steve and Brenda which could have transformed into real romantic passion after Laura's departure.
I completely agree with you, towards the end of season 4 Steve and Brenda had hated each other during an episode, this could have turned into real romantic passion, but unfortunately according to the writers Steve always had to be the role of the always loser and weak boy unlike characters like Dylan and Brandon, and Brenda absolutely had to look up to Dylan.

Why they putting a woman that looks 35 to play high school student. The character of Christina
Why not, when Andrea is already there....
Does anyone at West Beverly do homework or go to class?
No and they treat volunteer extra curricular activities like an actual job
@@teenindustrywell if you don't have to work then you can do that.
Steve was such a knucklehead 😢
It actually bothered me that he wasn't very bright, but you could tell he had a good heart.
i rememeber the 'we're using each other' on the episode promo...
Steve has always been kinda crappy too brenda regarding his usually failed gfs

The degrassi junior high is the precursor of this series and again is all about Gen X (yet I know there is a modern version of it you may refer to)

@@Lennox2638I totally agree! She looked way to old to play the part and was so obnoxious. I wish that they would have had Elizabeth Berkeley instead.
Steve little bit dumb in this episode but when he saw what she did he was not having it
It's Gwendolyn Pierce. Oh course Steve is spending all his money. Charles and Buddy are crying in the basement.
She was so hot. Heather Runyon. She was the original Gwendolyn Pearce in the original Charles in charge.
Jennifer Runyon.
She was also in the first Ghostbusters movie, and played Cindy Brady in the Christmas special "A Very Brady Christmas"
Why is humanity so obsessed with things? Can't we go above and beyond the physical?
Noooo YES
She dont loved Steve , she loved his money.
I always thought Steve was a good guy!
He was a dope though.
Well she ain't say no.....
good for brenda
Steve was a snob in the beginning but later on he changed..but like Brenda was rht u smart let that one go...she take my money ...

She should have had dinner with Venkman.

Actually, Pretty Woman was released in 1990 by Touchstone Pictures
Brenda: if your smart you’ll let that one go😂😂😂😂

It’s Fake Cindy Brady and Gwendolyn Pierce.
Gees, those filming technical parts used to look like so fresh and modern in this show at the time...and now they seem so dated and obsolete...
The girl with the scar was Guendoline in Charles in charge. Was so beautiful? No
Back when being this way was shameful.
Ive never seen a 35yr old in High School The actual girl was born in 1953......she looks great but clearly not a high school teen

Steve didn't earn the money either he is leaching off his parent's
Now he'd be called a misogynist that was trying to control a strong independent woman
Imagine if a movie was made into this
A girl would only be with a guy who has hair like that for his money.
