    I feel like it's one of those things that they didn't exist until the myth exploded, and then evil people brought them into fruition.

      Honestly this I can get by..just the myth alone made me go searching for it when I was 13 and I indeed find some horrible and I mean…horrible stuff and horrible people but I can agree I don’t think it was a thing before then.

      It would be very difficult to host a red room on the deep web because the encryption involved would make it super laggy and near impossible to host anything live (so I’ve have heard). Instead the cartel and other groups who aren’t against killing people on camera just use the surface web, mainly on Facebook, twitter, or other social media sites.

    Nice video. The dark web and deep web aren't the same thing. The deep web is just all the stuff that isn't indexed, mostly internal pages for companies and schools-- and most of it is on the clear web-- the dark web is what you access with tor but tor isn't the only dark web, there are other browsers and protocols. tor is just the biggest and most popular and the only one most people use.

    If you found yourself abducted and being strapped to a dentist chair in a torture room where you are being torn apart alive in front of a camera, on the list things that won't be of primary concern to you are A) whether the room is covered in white plastic and not red curtains, B) whether that camera is connected to a live feed to the dark web accessible to TOR or just recorded digitally for later viewing or distribution, C) whether these technicalities should correctly label your surroundings as a "Red Room" or whether you are just the unlucky star of a snuff film, D) whether that snuff film can be properly called a snuff film if it does not get sold and instead is only traded between sickos who enjoy watching and reliving your torture. Since there is a staggeringly long list of people who found themselves in just such a predicament whose experience based perspectives would be infinitely more informative, except for the fact that they're dead, than those of people who assume it can't be real if they can't imagine all the technicalities. It would be better to focus on justice and prevention than split hairs over semantics and offer blanket denials because circumstances don't fit narrow definitions, forgetting the fact that the horrors continue.
    Like you said, the rooms are impossible to stumble upon, everyone in them is specifically invited from a vetted list, the links are only shared right before and everything disappears afterward. This is already incredibly hard to catch people in the middle of, and when they do, they are supported by wealthy people with powerful friends who cause the authorities to lose evidence and not follow up.

I didnt click on the link but my friend did and said he only saw a sort of preview video for the livestream(idk in particular) and that u have to pay crypto to see the actual livestream. So could be either a big scam or actually a Real Red Room who knows!

    Hey so it's important to mention that the reason why people shouldn't go looking for DD is because it is a extreme CSAM film which is illegal to own or view. I know a lot of people already know this but it's really important to just say at least that much because when you tell people not to look something up they're more likely to do it especially if they have no idea what "it" is. The intention of this comment is to educate not criticize.
    Also Daisy survived and last I heard she was in a safe environment and her identity was being protected.
    I have trouble with feeling the tone of things I say which can sometimes lead to misunderstandings so if this came off as being rude or gives off "I know better than you" vibes please know it was not my intention.

    When it comes to reasons why as far as viewing, I may be wrong, but I feel like morbid curiosity is the first, the biggest and the most intense (And nope. I definitely dont know what I mean by intense..lol so don't ask) reasons as to why people try to watch things like red rooms and the like.
    In fact, yo..show some fuckin respect, and never, ever, ever underestimate morbidistionic curiositization.
    (by that, I mean as in not your own, but other person's..Which, I'd think would be twice as morbid and I dunno..Hell, probly 5(...?) times as curious

    • @magdajabonska537
      @magdajabonska537 ปีที่แล้ว

      For teenagers, they often seek out morbid stuff because they're both going through intense emotions and because its new to them and they only learned about those things relatively recently. I'm pretty sure seeking out some things at that stage of development is normal to some degree. The thing is, only to a certain degree. And since I'm not a psychologist, I do not know where does regular morbid curiosity end

    I never watched a live stream of it but awhile ago me and my friend stumbled upon a website with a bunch of weird videos on it some looked worse than others but we clicked on a video that looked more gory and more off than the rest cause we were under then impression all of it was fake but when we clicked on it no video played instead it started to download something so once it finished downloading we clicked on it and started to watch it. It started with a women in a dark room then a man came in. And I think you can imagine what the man did to her but that shit traumatized me not to mention no matter how many times I tried to delete that video off the laptop I had at the time it would not delete even after factory resetting it which meant it was probably an virus but it scared me and that friend so bad that after i realized I wouldn’t be able to delete that video I purposely left the laptop on the charger for days till the battery died and it couldn’t be turned on anymore in fear someone would open the laptop and see the video and have to live what I went through that night I also feared my parents seeing it. That link to that website too was deleted and I cant find it anymore thank god but holy shit that night haunts me DONT GET CURIOUS!!!!!!!!!!

    I disagree a little on the reasoning about why it cannot exist. There are many films/tapes that were widely commercialized in these niche communities of people being tortured, SA-ed, and everything else. It lacks human morality, but if people really do spend money on "pre-packaged torture" I can only imagine how much they'd spend to actually get to decide what happens to these people

    1 - You have a great voice and self deprecating humour, which is good for this platform. Practice levelling your voice naturally. Stand 3 feet away from a wall, and bend you ears half way and start walking away backwards at a very slow pace, and your voice is stop walking. 2 - Read as many articles that you find boring and do it slower every time. Separate your words and concentrate on punctuation. An example is how you rounded of the word 'concept' at the 4:15 timestamp. 3 - Stop the jump cuts. They are negating the attention and continuity of your voice. 4 - Consider sending demo's out to for voice overs. Do them for free for local radio stations, and after maybe 2 or 3 years when your channel grows, start charging for that service. Good luck.
