You don't have to undock to access the customs office. If you are in a player owned station you can use the 'view outside' feature and you are considered outside, in system, you can access your customs office to move stuff around.
On the factory planet, i use two launchpads for input so you can dump a full load in each materal into one pad each. Then a third launch pad for the final project collection. It will run 2.6 days and you can still have 22 factories.
Instead of transferring from CO to your hold THEN warping, I warp first and make the move from the CO to hold during align. As a matter of fact, I hover over the next spot during warp to and click "warp to" as soon as it changes from "Track". Becomes second nature and shaves off a tick or two.
Wow... I've been doing this for years. Two things to improve on your setup. 1. You don't need the second launchpad, I used to do it too. A call my setup "feeding the monster". I run it once a day. Drop everything on the singlelaunchpad and collect the final product on the same pad. You have to be careful to leave just enough room so you don't lose a cycle because your pad was already at 100% (I do 1999000). 2. The size of the planet for the "monster" is not so important, the freaking tax rate is. I do mine on a gas 5% tax rate, since we pay it twice, it does really add up...*** That one is a major ISK loss if done on the wrong planet. ***

Welcome back Sir! I had the Triglavian problem at customs officers in high-sec in Everyshore, made PI a pain in the proverbial. Why did it not occur to me to make bookmarks? Cuz some days you think you know it all lol.
What I like to do is take a more isk for less effort approach and use 3 storage faculties plus 3 launchpads. I load up the 3 launchpads with the first ingredient alphabetically, and expedited transfer it from each one to corresponding storage facility (3 total), I then load up the launchpads with the second ingredient. This makes it so I can get 60,000 m3 of stuff on planet to churn through over the next two weeks. For me this makes it so I only have to load up my factory planets once every month. To limit hauling from P1 planets to once a month as well I also use two to three launchpads below a row of 3 factories to store more there so I only have to pick up the P1's up once a month as well.
@@lorumerthgaming NP, it may also be worth going over how cycle times effects extractor productivity. Beyond 2 days 1 hour and 30 minutes you go from 30 minute cycles to 1 hour cycles taking a extractor productivity hit. This happens again beyond 4 days 4 hours where you go from 1 hour to two hour cycles. It also occurs again beyond 8 days 6 hours where you go from 2 hour to four hour cycles. Basically you better off going isk/hr at 2 days 1 hour 30 minutes or isk/effort at 4 days 4 hours. Beyond this point for my tastes extractor productivity drops off too much to be worth it but for a really low effort setup 8 days 6 hour would be the max recommended cycle time.

How did this have anything to do with WH?
.. taps foot, looks at watch...."so where the hell have you been then...hmmm??"
Been about it 😉
I think robotics are more valuable than nanites. nanites are roughly 10,000 per item but robotics are 90,000 per item!
