At the beginning u c her writing something down when a few seconds later a man is reading something and smiles … apparently A had “kindly” asked him to make a couple of revisions in the composition … he is the one who used the word “kindly” when telling someone the story behind it … apparently she was very nice when asking him to cge whatever it was … lol … according to many NOTHING goes into her songs unless she gives the final word on it … and that was understood fr the get-go …
U have to give her minders such huge kudos … they did not push her, they let her b a child and witness the world thru a child’s eye … they let her grow accordingly and what we c today is the outcome of such love and devotion … a gift fr the skies above for sure … a rare gem who has been granted a previous gift few of us have been blessed with …

Nine years and two months old. Probably started arranging and rehearsing when she was eight. There are videos of rehearsals where you see her controlling the band using questions like “don’t you think it should be higher “ to get what she wants. Musicians affectionately refer to her as the boss. Consider this band going home to family and friends explaining what they did today. I believe they knew that they were part of musical history this day. There has never been and probably never be another Angelina. We are all watching history being made by a child from the age of eighteen months of age to the present. We can thank her Grandmother and Mother for all the early recordings of her journey.

This is actually two years after she WON Norway got talent. She entered Norway Got Talent at age 7, missing a bunch of teeth, with epic, unruly hair and the voice of angel. Absolutely adorable.

Many people don’t know that Sreamin’ Jay Hawkins was a boxing champ. He joined the army at age 13 using forged ID. He was a formidable opponent in the army and later in the airforce boxing circuits. He won several boxing golden glove awards mostly in his hometown of Cleveland. In 1949 he won Alaska’s middleweight title.

As an older lady of 12, she did a nice cover of Adele's "A Million Years Ago"
Not only did she do this (We have no name for) Lets say, "The most amazing performance I have ever seen" said by many on TH-cam, she has many other performances that have brought people to tears, and I mean uncontrollable (You would never do in public) break down crying! Look at AGT performances, and your taken, then to go back in time to see this? How is she not recognized as.......I can't even come up with a term or name for this, how? But some crown or label needs to be awarded, because if not, we are witnessing a crime in itself! I wish it never happened, because know I have to keep dealing the the emotional aspect and impact it had on me? Crazy! right? But it fits with today (Crazy)

She has always done her own arrangements. How many 8 year olds have their own band? Thus the early years of the gift named Angelina Jordan.

Amazing vocals for an “any”-year-old…. I really believe that this was one of the greatest vocal performances ever. It is my favorite video, favorite song… (at least her version of it), and one my favorite all-time singers. She is sensational - otherworldly even. She is a phenom… an old soul. It almost seems supernatural.
Her parents made sure she had a childhood too. And just remember English is not her first language. But the thing that really cracked me up was, for her performance of Bohemian Rhapsody, the Compere on AGT (speaking to THIS girl, who has been doing live studio work with various top bands & solo performing to crowds for YEARS, directing her to where the mike is...

As for - 'absorbing'; Jazz , Blues, Soul 'with her mothers milk' - I think it was earlier - in utero.
Apparently her parents were mad keen Billie Holiday and Nina Simone devotees - amongst many others of similar genres and played this music constantly - including throughout the pregnancy.
We now have evidence based research that show that babies brains develop more complex neuro development / synaptic connections when exposed - in utero - to complex music - like multi-instrumental classical pieces. That's my conclusion anyway for the: Why? Wot! How!?!

Angelina was 8-9 years in this song. Have you seen her cover from when she was 6 years old when she did " I Who Have Nothing" ? I know the good old Tom Jones sang that song way,way back. Her rendition is amazing and the vid was done in ONE take !!! 6 years old. Un-believable !

This was a year after Norway's Got Talent
There are many things you can take away from this performance, but let me center on one that might not get discussed as much as the obvious amazing things Angelina does here. Despite the many vocal techniques and her domination of that studio, Angelina is not showing off. She is masterful (even at 9) at recreating a style so authentically that takes you back to real music of 60 or 70 years ago. Close your eyes and you’re listening to a seasoned blues singer from the 50’s. She will do this to you with blues, as you’ve seen here, soul, r&b, straight ballads, and especially jazz. She is called the girl with 1,000 voices for good reason: compare this voice to the Bohemian Rhapsody performance.
She is easily the best singer I’ve ever heard. She will leave you feeling upbeat, melancholic, happy, wistful, or frequently in tears after you watch her live the lyrics of anything she sings. To see what Angelina is like now, watch her cover of Adele’s “All I Ask” and hear her match Adele’s power and emotion, but add amazing texture and nuance that will make it your favorite version immediately. Or watch her go completely old school jazz with her own composition, “Seventh Heaven”, and ask if there is a better jazz singer today. (She just today released an “official” video of this.) But don’t miss those Norway’s Got Talent performances that show how a seven year old in front of an audience and judges can give us Billie Holiday-once with a music track and once a cappella because-why not? It’s no problem at all.

At this performance she was 9.2 yo and alsready a seasoned pro having sung on stage around the world for many charity events and dignitaries in Europe, Asia and America after winning Norway's Got Talent at 8. ONE MORE BANGIN. "FEELING GOOD, Live on the Stream Gir Tilbake" at the ripe old age of 10 with a full jazz orchestra live on stage. I promise you will be just as amazed as this one!! I believe she was born with a fully developed avatar consciousness that most of humanity has lost. She elevates her mind into it when she performs. This level of being is timeless so age is not a limitation. She touches people through the feelings of the heart rather than emotions. Whatever her real purpose is will become clear in time.

Absolutely the best performance by any child ever on any song! - Period. Actually, I seriously doubt if any adult can match it. No adult can generate the raw emotion of a 9 year old who has lived for decades! She came from the planet "Talent" where everyone has some kind of super ability. She lived on the same street as Dimash and around the corner from Tiger Woods. She came in a rocket wrapped in a blanket which her family made into the outfit she wore on AGT, with the leftovers making the mask in the "The Show Must Go On" video.

This is recorded a year after NGT, which she won at 7/8, so she is 9 yo. When she is a worldwide Super Star, and she will be, millions and millions of people will discover this MASTERPIECE!! and have the same jaw-dropping reaction. And oh yeah, this is her tribute to the original Screamin' Jay Hawkins (1956) performance, and she arranged this black and white production to honor him. And the band is a 10+. But the best part, IMO, is the end credits, where it switches back and forth between a (relatively late) live performance by the original artist, Screamin' Jay Hawkins, and the corresponding moments from Angelina's performance. You can see that, for all the over-the-top screaming and growling she was doing here, she was actually taking what Hawkins did and making it _more musical_ . (!)

Now you need to see her own composition videos of "Million Miles". She wrote it when she was ~12 years old for the memory of her recently passed (at that time) beloved grandfather. She has dedicated it to him and for any others that have experienced such loss. There are two incredible video versions to see other than the official music video by her new label, Republic Records. Watch the lyrics version first. It has great artful graphics by her grandmom, a noted Iranian artist. The lyrics are most powerful. Then watch the b/w studio version. She uses just a piano (played by a very high up Republic executive) and cello backing. The emotion in this performance will make you cry. Angelina mentioned that while recording the "official" version she cried throughout the session. If you have memories of a dear loss, you need to do a reaction video of these performances. Stunning, emotional artistry by a kid singer/songwriter/arranger.

I've got nothing. She is who she is and she just goes on getting better. The one thing I would say is that these days she sings with her own voice - not trying to emulate Billie Holiday or anyone else. Her latest release, 7th Heaven, has just appeared on TH-cam. Give your ears a treat, even if you don't review it.
She put a spell on me with this song about two months ago .! Now I'm bamboozled .! I have to hear her every day.!
"What?" Yeah, that seems to be the usual reaction to this phenomenon. It defies belief & logic that a wee 9 y/o girl could do what Angelina does here. Some 200 singers, including some very good ones, have covered this song. I used to think that only Nina Simone and CCR, maybe Annie Lennox, were worth listening to. Then I found Angelina's version & it is now my favorite.

She won NGT about a year before. To have heard the original, seen the heart of it, mastered the techniques, assembled a band--a good band--and all at the age of barely 9. But more amazing is that this level of artistry is normal for Angelina. Check out her many cover which equal or surpass the originals.
Every time I hear Angelina sing, I picture her stepping out of an old black & white movie, to transport us back in time, so we can fall in love with these genuine masterpieces again! The first song was "Gloomy Sunday" , the second I'm A Fool To Want You" that was acapella , the third one " Bang Bang" and the fourth one "Summertime".

Angelina is now 15 years old. after being screwed over by Americas Got Talent The Champions in 2020, she got signed by a record label . she wrote a song back in 2018 when she was 12 about her grandfather who passed away. she recorded the song on her album in 2020, the song is called "Million Miles" (live in studio). its in black and white and its a slightly different version than the album version. its just a piano and a cello, and Angelina standing in front of a microphone. if you have a heart at all, or if you have suffered any sort of loss, this song will get to you. there are 3 different videos versions for this song, in my opinion this is the best one. the first video is an animation of drawings done by Angelina and her grandmother, so very cute. the second video is "the official" video, just a typical music video. MILLION MILES ( live in studio). stands head and shoulders above the other 2. then righter this song, she released another one called "7th Heaven". its a very jazzy song. its good, another one that she wrote. i see you already reacted to "Yesterday", check out her "Billie Jean" video and also "Heal The World". all 3 of the videos i suggested shows her uniqueness and her abilities. ONE LAST SUGGESTION , Whitney Houstons song cover by Angelina, " I HAVE NOTHING". she was 12 when she did this one !!! she takes it and makes it her own with minor twists. she does it in one take, even Whitney had to do several takes to get her final product of this song.
This brilliant little girl is now 6 feet tall. She is a force of nature for sure. I hope she doesn’t hang out in LA and stays in Norway on her off time. She is just too precious to be let loose. I want to keep her in a pink bubble, safe from the sordid world of Hollyweird. Not a misspelling.

I agree, l think of Judy Garland as well when l hear Angelina. Judy had a beautiful depth and tone to her voice that set her apart in an era of great voices. Angelina also has a one of a kind tone and depth when she sings. She also has an incredible musical intellect by the fact that she not only can sings these standards, she understands them in everyway.

⬆️ Yes, this is truly a remarkable “performance” - her first or second time in a recording studio. At six she’s a wee bit unpolished (although certainly not for a six year old singing such a difficult song), but what is truly remarkable about this recording is her sheer exuberance and joy at being able to sing for others! Angelina is such a treasure. ❤️
Yeah, Tom Jones made the song popular in the 1970s but I believe Angelina is covering the Shirley Bassey version done in the 1960's.

Absolutely fabulous reaction !! I couldn't help laughing through it when I saw your reaction, because I felt exactly the same when I saw this for the first time 2 years ago. Equally, I have never heard anything like this in my life (50+), and like you guys, I listen to a lot of music from all kinds of genres. I realised very quick, that Angelina is not simply the best singer of her generation, but she is also exceptionally intelligent - and I mean this as in "genius", not just very smart. Her ability to learn languages, to understand rhythm and melodies, arrangements, to memorise songs, her own songwriting, all of that together is showcasing her real potential. I would say it is a pleasure to browse through many of her songs. My favourite cover songs from her are "All of me", "Bang Bang", "California Dreaming", "Young and Beautiful"......my favourite original is "Shield" and "Million Miles".

@@BritPopsReact Many thanks for your kind response ! Every Angelina song is different, altogether they showcase her talent. California Dreaming is a short but great rendition, very different than original. It brings out the true meaning, the darkness. When you sit at home in a UK winter, wet, dark and cold, and you dream about going South or West :-)

She had in fact already won Norway's Got Talent, which she won at age 8 in 2014. She has many more performances that will blow you away, so I'm already looking forward to your next Angelina reaction.
The musicians continued to work with her for a couple of years.
You can see them again in many of her outdoor concerts and also at a big indoor event shown one of her "Feeling Good" videos.
