I tried this yesterday and was very happy with this technique. I hate making ewedu. Got tired of the not drawing part and dark colour. Came across your page just yesterday and fortunately for me I had ewedu leaf at home. Normally I will get someone to make it but yesterday I told the person not to bother. I decided to try this method and I couldn't be more happier. Thank you so much. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The secd2 method of cooking Ewedu (which we Mulukhia) You prepare meet , onion, oit, and seating (no crifish) Let the neat simmer then the water until the meat is ready. In different put cook the Ewedu, add s spon of baking soda cook less 10 min Then add it to the stew Check the seasoning. Enjoy
I am subscribing to your channel because you don't waste time in your explanation, and your video is short and detailed. Thanks for teaching this technique. I am gonna try it. Thank you.
V.nixe. I am from S Sudan the we prepare Ewedu in different. There are 2 ways 1: you prepare your meet stew by frying the onion then add meet. Let the meet cook add the seasoning and tomato. Add little to cook 4 the meet to be tender then add the Ewedu, Let cook 4 another 10 then is done You may not see the drow because oof the tomatoes. It meat to be that way.
In the refrigerator it would last for 5-7 days but may start to loose freshness, freezing is a lot better to maintain its freshness or better still make it in small quantity ❤️
You can add a pinch of bicarbonate soda to the end of the final cooking it do remains green

To make it draw and come out greener you'll need to add a little potash
Your recipe was really helpful I just tried it. Thank you so much.
thank you for watching
After blending it, if you want it to draw more, just slice little onion to it. Very little
But union normally stop draw in okra
Never at all but this method is a go like a nice cake
You can also blend it
I tried this and it's awesome
Oh wow I have the same issue! I’d definitely try this method💃🏻
Thank you 💗 sis, but how many minutes will I blend it and more importantly how many minutes will it cook
That depends on the power of your blender, I think you should decide the texture you want, smooth or a bit less smooth. Mine is smooth.
Sorry you don’t wash the leaves?
Please did you add potash at any point
Very nice
Thanks for sharing.
How can someone preserve it in the refrigerator
In the refrigerator it would last for 5-7 days but may start to loose freshness, freezing is a lot better to maintain its freshness or better still make it in small quantity ❤️
Thanks for the video ma
❤❤❤
I love this . Thanks
I blended my ewedu but it didn’t draw 😭😭
Awww so sorry dear, sometimes spiece matters but I hope you also didn’t expect it to be like okra. Ewedu generally gives a light viscosity.
I tried this method just this morning 💃
Thank you so much for watching♥️

Also, if you go to the Asian shop (Indian or Pakistani Asian), ask for Molokhia. That’s what they call it by in Arab cultures
