having the Jeep in your videos is great as its hard to work out how serious the terrain is with all the V8 land cruisers as i have a hilux. Great videos all round guys keep them coming.
thanks Lee Hunt , your not wrong about the tyres, muddies are on the list for the Jeep & I cant wait! will save a lot of hard work with the maxtrax and track building ;)
Beautiful country ya'll have, kind of like the great pacific north west .washington state,USA. BUT, you guys do it a lil better in the outback. Love to have my silverado over there.
+Bob Ward Coming from Western Australia myself , I would agree with you Bob , parts of Washington state and Idaho where i traveled were very similar terrain Minus the snow lol . Saying that no where is Aus can compete with some of the mountain ranges over there , can't wait to get back there , Awesome place .:-)
I see you got a light bar below the bull bar, don't you ever worry about that geting smashed if you hit your approach angle or if you'r getting bashed around going up a hill?
Hey Ronny, going through the archives. Love your stuff! Any chance you could leave a link in the description as to what songs you put in your videos. The one @4:30 is awesome but I can't find what it's called?
hi sir, i would like to ask question regarding 4wd . how long can i use h4 or L4 in off road or distance (km)? what can be advantage and disadvantage from it? thank you.
No limits to distance... Just do not use it on surfaces without slip (paved roads) as thats where you'll cause issues. Advantages are increased control and traction. Disadvantage is worse gas mileaage but if you need 4x4 gas mileage should be the least of your concerns.
yeah I mentioned that to him before the trip, he wanted to put it in the bullbar slot so I think it will be going there before the next outing. No damage apart from the bracket so he got lucky.
I'm impressed with how well the Jeep did with the open diffs. I guess the Chrysler Brake LSD thing works well enough for most situations.
Hi Ronny , you have certainly developed your skills since this was produced, even though at this time these vids were tops, thanks Ronny
Man them jeeps are just amazing. Everything is so easy lol

Great vid mate. That Jeep needs some decent rubber (muddies) though lol

Been many years since we were last down there. Might be tempted to go down later this year and follow the nearest convoy

Bob Ward Thanks mate, yeah we feel pretty lucky with what we have in AUS

Do u guys have the gps locations of those water crossings please
Wow! Where is the entrance to this magnificent place? I live quite close to Brunswick.
I see you got a light bar below the bull bar, don't you ever worry about that geting smashed if you hit your approach angle or if you'r getting bashed around going up a hill?
RecklessAdventure yeah i got nailed on the way up that river crossing hill, think he will be relocating it after that trip.
Ronny Dahl Oh ok haha

Use google microphone for music and it tells you it's called Decision by Robert Gonzalez AKA Popa G
Hi Ronny , did you have the Rapid Power alternator back then? Cheers Rolly
what is the little besr thing called? i want to buy one

Did you have front lockers on all the trucks?
Both cruisers have front and rear lockers which were engaged a few times at the river crossing hill climb exit. The Jeep has open diffs.
Ronny Dahl Nice, thanks!!!!
You broke the light bar in the front under the bumper at 4:05.
4:05 good fight LED Bar! ouch
yeah it gave up pretty quick ;)
Did it break :o
no just the bracket broke, those LED bars are pretty tough. "Little Bear" said he will try and put it between the bullbar slot next time.
What camera do you use for the video and still, love the quality and the content
Canon XF300 for video plus a few gopros and the stills are from two Canon 5D mark iii's oh and a drone for air shots.
Nice air shots. What's the make of you drone?
When is the Jeep gonna get some loving? IE: Some good MT tires and lockers? Poss even a lift.
mimixownzall its already got a 2inch lift and got some MT's shortly after this trip on the video.
Ronny, I've heard you can use the foot break to simulate a locker. Is this true? and does it work? Would you be able to do a video on it?
I thought that was a silly place to put a light bar on the single can and then crunch.
yeah I mentioned that to him before the trip, he wanted to put it in the bullbar slot so I think it will be going there before the next outing. No damage apart from the bracket so he got lucky.
the one dislike must be a jeeper :P
1:54 what not to do
