I have one of these units mated with a TDH8 Second generation and it works great. I also have an ARICCO available on EBAY Looks like the same manufacture just rebranded. It works with UHF/VHF/HF radios with a common mic. plug. Different radios use different mic. plugs so you need to take care which one you order. I have one mated to a Kenwood TM-271 and it also works well.

Using the Bluetooth adapter attached to the radio, is there a boom microphone push to talk earpiece that is compatible. I’d like to use the device while hunting. The microphone unit that comes with the device is too bulky for my use.

these bluetooth handmics annoy me. My radios have bluetooth built-in, but no one has ever covered if these handmics can use HFP/HSP protocols and if the PTT works properly.
If they could pair without the dongle to radios like my FTM-500DR I'd be a strong proponent of this sort of accessory, as it would be very convenient without extra parts to have to keep track of beyond the handmic itself. But if I have to use the dongle then I'm just not really interested, I already have too many various parts and pieces to have to keep track of.

Not being universally compatable is annoying to be sure. It can pair with a phone, why not BT radios? I understand the technical needs, but I would think those protocols could be added to the radios. Cheers.
