- Glastonbury did it!! We won the appeal.
A huge thank you goes out to the following folk,
Emma King for organising the petition to the Integrated Care Board (ICB) requesting them to revisit their Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, and also for attending several ICB meetings. The ICB certainly had got the message: at their AGM meeting I attended all of them were fully aware of the serious situation Glastonbury was in.
Jacq Hotchkiss Cross and Dr Nick Matthews, who provided compelling evidence to the Appeal on the effect the current situation on Glastonbury residents.
Caroline Ritherden for doing several trips up and down the High Street handing out the "Glastonbury Needs a Pharmacy" signs. Signs that were noted at the appeal as showing how the need for a pharmacy really had community support.
Cllr Paul Manning for coordinating the campaign and printing the window stickers.
Every Business in the HIgh Street and surrounding area that put up these signs.
Everybody who signed Emma's petition, and wrote letters of support for the pharmacy. Even these small actions made a difference.
Thank you everybody!
Fantastic news Gabriel. 😊
It really is!
So happy for you all in Glastonbury! 🎉🎊🎈🥳

Woo hoo, great news 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Great news. To answer your question, there's no way we'll give Well Pharmacy any more business.
Brilliant. I feel sorry for the staff but I sincerely hope that many more people follow your lead. Any company that holds this town in such contempt that it lied in the appeal hearing does not deserve to trade here
Brilliant news. Be there or be square.
Absolutely
Fabulous 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
