I fully agree with you. I actually loved JP3, as with JP1 and JP2. The Jurassic World movies are big disappointment as I feel that they have killed the franchise and lost the magic that Spielberg created.

I was half expecting a smile and a soft "hiiii", perhaps with a little hand wave. Instead, we get the hard stare and the squinty eyes, like "Yeah, you'd *better* run"...
I'm happy that the Pteranodons finally had some screentime in JP3 considering that they barely appeared in the previous movies (with the exception of a small cameo at the end of LW) add to the fact that they spend most of their screentime attacking the human characters during this scene makes them even more iconic and unforgettable.
This part was awesome no one gonna match this masterpiece and currently this dominion is lacking in this I mean just listen the music 🤩🤩 all scenes are perfect oh man NOSTALGIA I SAW THIS MOVIE WHEN I WAS IN 5TH STANDARD STILL REMAINS FRESH ❤️

The intro of the video game Dino Crisis, released two years before this movie, also had a man named Cooper chased and eaten by a big carnivorous dinosaur in a similar way (although it was a T-Rex, not a Spino).
the dinosaurs in this universe were hybrid mutations created by ingen, crossbred genetics w other animal DNA to create the dinos. flesh eating spinosaurus and the featherless raptors are a result of this
At highly intreased adrenaline levels, some people have shown insane traits of being way stronger, durable and energetic than they should be in extreme situations. Though... It's a movie so movie logic trumps real logic.

This was the first film I’ve seen from the franchise and this scene by far was the most terrifying to as a kid.
