I consider lightweights glass cannon builds. They can't take more than a few hits before getting killed but thats my skill issue. They are monsters in the right hands. I still prefer tanks. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast imo.
Tanks are really scary to play against as a lightweight. I like to play as a tank occasionally, but overall I like my ACs to be fast and light. The zippier the better, lol
I love lights as well. Always have, always will. If I played another type of light it would definitely be an ETSUJIN/ML redshift build as well, but without those ugly BASHO arms. I really dont like how big the gap is between the melee specs of that arm and the next highest one. It pretty much locks any serious melee user into building with those ugly things...
Although I don't really mind the way they look, I absolutely agree that there should be less of a gap. This is also in part due to the strength of the Ocellus tbh, but indeed for a melee build it feels weird to choose anything else than the Bashos. Maybe there will be another update somewhere in the near future. I sure hope so..
@@Etrulz I think maybe we didn't get a balance change due to the whole Elden Ring dlc. People are forgetting that ER is their cash cow. They've probably got everyone working double time on that game.
@@Etrulz I guess I could be nicer to the BASHO arms. What I should say is that they completely ruin the aesthetic of my NACHT/ALBA light. They make my AC look like a gorilla or pinhead from Puppet Masters.

I love all the weight classes, but I cheat on my marriage to lightweights with other lightweights.
