    I'm really enjoying this series. What are you using for ribs?

      @@FrameWagnerCanoe how thick and wide are the ribs? Awesome series, watching here from Vancouver Island, Canada--thanks for sharing your knowledge & craftsmanship! Truly works of art

    A description of the materials used would be nice…. Spruce root, or rattan? Ply or cedar ribs? Ply type and thickness for hull? Type of sauce used with those big pasta noodles?

      I'll make an extra video with all materials soon, as a lot of people ask. May call it "His wooden materials"

    Amazing series! I have been considering attempting something like this for a few years. Do you sell plans, or do you just kinda do it?

      Thank you, I don't sell plans. I started with the book "Bark Canoes and Skin Boats of North America" by Adney and Chapelle, ad my knowledge as learned carpenter, studied wood designer and 25 years of trying and getting better to get this result ;)

    Great work but I’m wondering how you formed the stem?

    • @FrameWagnerCanoe

      It's laminated wood stripes pressed into the form, thin wood stripes are glued together. This year I am going to make a video for that one too

    I guess this is one of those projects that you have to know what you're doing before you start.

    What type of wood are you using for ribs? White oak? Or is it plywood ribs?

    • @FrameWagnerCanoe
      @FrameWagnerCanoe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I go for cedar, it's lighter than oak

      @@UcranianoUKR Yes white cedar will do the trick!
