I just bought a clone today. It seemed to work really well for me when I tested it out. Just goes to show that everyone is unique with their arsenal and how they throw the ball. Fantastic video as always!!! Next video should be your 3 and 6 ball arsenals for house shot leagues and sport shot leagues.

This was exactly the ball video I needed haha I’m currently rearranging my 6b arsenal and I was conflicted cause my main arsenal consists of DNA,absolute, revenant, tnt, purple hammer urethane, and spare ball then on the bench I have a (hustle rip and iQ ruby) I was looking for something from the newer line of balls currently out to Kinda fit between the revenant and DNA this video gave me some clarity thank you!

great comment on strategy to use different core styles in the bag instead of duplicating in a series, so that multiple balls aren't out of play in a center at a time. had never processed that and my bag has been 2-3 balls with same cores for so long it now explains a lot that if I'm not scoring, it's probably an equipment line not matching up to conditions and covers don't change that. glad I just revamped my arsenal to change up the core styles and get some better roll variation between ball changes.
So glad this came out before I chose my hybrid ball. Also, what’s the process for pro V am? I’ll be in Vegas next month for a tournament through my local center.

two different tiers, league and tournament (sport). List seems pretty spot on except I think you did the Clone dirty LOL. But that's my opinion. Mine hasn't left my bag since I got it. Keep up the awesome work DTang!

I think a breakdown video of different approach and release would be cool, like difficulty of learning, ease of growth, potential? Eg the standard one hand approach into suitcase/handshake release, the two handed, the cagle

I throw an Electrify G/O as my burnt up ball. I bowl in a center with wood lanes and no knowledge on oil really and the G/O holds up. So for it’s price range I think it’s a great beginner ball or something to get if you’re bowling on bad conditions!
I would really like to see which balls you would roll in league play only. Even it’s just top 3-4 balls. I really enjoy your videos , ball reviews an instructional videos! Plus make it to the TV shows!

Im glad the !Q Tour Ruby is in the NUT category. I threw it before but is wasn't mine but I still liked it. Now that I have my own im excited to throw it see how it rolls for me. Sadly i currently can't because of the cast on my hand and thumb.

Trying to figure out a good 2nd ball to compliment the Hy road OG I have currently. Thinking asymmetrical since Hyroad is a symmetrical. For the average bowler is the eternity or exotic gem a good option?
Suggestion for future league night videos. Just keep rotating through the new lines with 3 ball arsenal combinations, like Eternity PI, Summit, ZGL, then Blackout, Clone, Hustle... etc

I'm just getting into bowling, and bought a tropical surge equivalent being the rhino series. Should my next investment being a better storm reactive ball or should I invest in a spare ball like an ice?

As for ideas, it'll be nice if you gave a price or price range for the balls at the time of this video.
Most people know that the prices will increase overtime, but it'll be nice to have an idea of how much 1 ball cost vs another. It'll also be nice to see the price to rank correlation.
Its different everywhere you go. Rough range is higher end balls like summit, gold label are 200-250. Lower end balls like hustle are 150-180 drilled.
I just started my third season of league yesterday and I used the hammer redemption hybrid and I bowled 274 game 1 232 game 2 and 217 game 3 finally bowled my first 700 series total 723

Interesting placements as usual, Darren. If I were to give the Xponent a stronger layout, would it read in roughly the same area as a phaze 2? My current benchmark piece is too smooth, and I wanted something with a tad more pop but still controllable, but I don't like the Phaze 2. Tbis Xponent seems to be what I've been missing, but I want it to be almost like a Phaze 2 lite.
My exponent is drilled pretty aggressive but is still super controllable. Lots of shape but tons of versatility.
Can you please do a tier list of the best balls to use for college? Season is about to start so I think it'd be cool to see your thoughts.

But one thing I would be interested in…..you mentioned 6 ball arsenal to take in the bowl to start.
So I would assume the 6 balls would come from the Nut and Rice Bowl balls.
But one final thing to make the video better would be taking the balls from those list and build that actual 6 if those two lists have more than 6 balls combined.
I’ve got the Summit and love it. I’ve been eyeing the IQ Ruby for a minute, but I don’t feel I bowl enough to constitute having multiple high end balls. Am I being too cheap?

Xponent should be in the nut category off of what I have seen from everyone around me. That ball just knows how to strike I swear.
Darren let me ask your opinion im a two finger onr handed righty my absolute favorite ball is Dark code Its my go to on about any pattern I can surface up or down and it shapes perfect for me but in your opinon what is a good ball that shapes about the same and hooks about the same?

Glad most of my league bag made it to the staple or nut category. Summit, eternity, & Ruby have been great. Just recently got the clone to bridge the gap between my reality and summit. Just got the clone and it’s rolling really nice so far. Looking forward to grabbing a tour dynamix in the future for those short patterns

Im 29 years old and I started bowling "seriously" (studying, doing some drills, practicing 2 times a week at least, joining a league) 1 year ago. I now average 170 without any in person coaching. My questions to you Darren (my name is also Darren 😅) or any fellow bowlers is that good progession for 1 year, and what advice do you have to become a 200 avg bowler?

Clone hands down ball of the year for me. I love the motion/shape. I'm 2 handed higher rev side of 2 handers 17-18 MPH and this ball is the 🌰. I will say however it's responsive to hand positions/speeds (at least for me) so if you aren't consistent in release/speed may not be your cup of tea. But if you are good at it, this ball is PURE money.

My dad had the gold and pin above bridge cg kicked out a little and I got 2 emeralds same layout pin above bridge cg kicked out and they are both right handed but the favorite of the 2 has a long pin to cg while the other has a 3 to 3.5 inch distance and the fingers have the vise interchangeable fingers with the center of the hole drilled deeper but it is the straighter one. I have a phaze 2 same way , a second phaze 2 I am buying next month from a buddy I am buying from . A badger , honey badger gold , dark code , zero gravity and I love them ALOT. I am left handed but they are right handed

I use a phaze 2 and a duo. Works well for me.
