Hi Mate, Iv been going to Awinya for the past 10 years and my partners family have been going for 50 years there, it’s amazing. Just got back 3 days ago from a 14 day stay there. It’s actually easier to get to Awinya via Woralie track and come down the beach to Awinya. Also, you won’t catch a thing off the beach, fish at the river mouth 2 hours after the turn of low tide early morning or late afternoon/night or high tide at night. :) Or fish the rock shelf a little further up the beach past Bowral. Good to see you looking after our families holiday spot. 👍
how good is that spot, last i camped there the creek was over your head deep and crystal clear was awesome snorkeling through it. cant wait to get back there
Hi Guys Nice thanks heaps, glad you said about the creek is tidal, so many People drive through salt water. Where You camped is a bad storm & hi tides it goes under water. One time they lost 4 cars & 2 boats due to salt water damage it’s on TH-cam. Thanks we will be watching your channel stay safe thanks. PS have You a Brother Lee ???
Did you take Woralie road until Woralie Creek and then drive up the beach to Awinya? Or did you take the track north off Woralie Road? Thanks for the tips
