Spirit our empowerment
To preach without scripture then is just our opinion
To teach without Jesus being the centre is just wishful thinking
To Minister without the spirit will leave us drained and empty
Jesus, word and spirit must work together

1 Cor 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
1 Cor 3:16 Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?
Romans 5:5 God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

From the moment we became a believe God’s spirit indwelt us
Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
The Spirit’s ministry
Romans 12:6-8 Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith;
if service, in his serving;
or he who teaches, in his teaching;
or he who exhorts, in his exhortation,
he who gives, with liberality;
he who leads, with diligence;
he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness
1 Corinthians 14:24-25 But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all; the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you
It is not the power of the preacher , but the power of his message.
It is the Spirit that convicts, he will build our church. We are to be vessels used by God. Come join with me to pray that God once more will bring new life to our church, people being convicted by God, being saved, renewed and transform by God .

A fresh start
let’s watch God move among us
Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness
God may we be bold. God use us
John 16:13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come
John 15:26-27 “When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me, and you will testify also, because you have been with Me from the beginning
2 Peter 1:21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
John 16:14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you
