Help us. How do we make money? My daughter has just started this game. She has gotten up to the part where the 2nd light on the lighthouse has lit up. What do we do now?
Just cast with A and use bait or no bait if you feel like. Then once you see a "!" Press A and smash it. It takes a little bit for the fish to latch on. There certain fish to catch in the seasons and certain bait needed.
If you never heard about harvest moon, it's like stardew valley etc. - you know... just another title like all the others, which surely doesnt have nearly 25 years of history, since it first came out on SNES in 1996 or something.....

It's like i would tell everybody: Hey kids, so here is this game called Mario ya know? A platformer like other platformers nowadays *yawn* ;). Well it's your video so no worries. I actually bought the barn first, then the livestock building and then the chicken coop and I found it a lot easier in that order
Chicken coop isn't worth another upgrade I feel. Took awhile for animal barn I had to get blue roses.
