Well, you see, dear Ty, King Triple-D needed a monster to *clobber* that there Kirby, not permanently get rid of him. Sectonia deadass threatening to crush Kirby into dust was too far.
The fact this was a fight where the final boss had to fight against one of Kirby's strongest superabilities and actually opposes him to the point of having a quite equal amount of power makes it legendary, not even the star allies sparkler was capable of killing a boss or even the superabilities from Kirby's return to Dreamland, this is capable of one shooting actual bosses
The thing is about the Star Allies sparkler is that the boss could not be killed from the outside. You had to attack his soul so it would explode. Star Allies is just the power of friendship

I think what might be the greatest part about this phase is Taranza finally accepted that Sectonia's a lost hope, teaming with his enemies to finally put her to rest.
Yeah, that is pretty cool actually. They don't build up expectations for the final confrontation much (and when they do, they break it into pieces). That enables the real final boss to more effectively make you shit your pants.
Another thing I like is how they either tell you the plot over time, or explain it at the end where you realize it all makes sense. Like in squeak squad, where there the chest that meta knight steal from you wasn't containing a fruitcake, rather a star-shaped demon of destruction.
Pengo BoneRush I'm not usually the biggest fan of last minute Final Bosses that we had no idea of until that moment because we had no idea who that person is and they felt so random so there was no conflict or motivation to fight them since they don't mean as much as a rival or someone who has motivate us to kick their butts! It's usually hit or miss for me, very rarely is it a hit but Sectonia proved me wrong! She felt like an actual Kirby Villain and still is one of the most memorable Kirby villains along with Dedede, Magalor, Daroach and Marx! I prefer opponents that was known from the start and tension rises for an epic confrontation!
This fight was a lot like the final battle of Gohan and Cell from Dragon Ball Z. Both Sectonia and Cell were insect-like beings who became more powerful after changing forms, had a fixation on perfection, fed off countless others and met their end by a young hero that had aid from an on and off foe who is also royalty.
Man, I love this theme. This one really gives that wonderful sense of Kirby's ultimate power running wild. Only too late do most of his foes realize that he's actually the single most powerful being in the universe. In *any* universe.
I wouldn't say he's a psychopath, Kirby is an alien. He's different from everyone and doesn't necessarily understand social norms. He wouldn't understand "Hey dude, the fact that your absorbing living things is actually pretty FREAKISH!" the way he see's it, if it helps get the job done then why not?
+Samuel Robinson I would consider the fact that he eats and murders innocent creature with no remorse kind of makes him a psychopath. Not to mention he will sometimes kill creatures (specifically Waddle Dees) with no reason. There are multiple times in Triple Deluxe where you have to suck up a sleeping Waddle Dee. But no worries Kirby, we still love you! :D
Well, waddle dee's aren't necessarily innocent, I always saw them as typical human beings...some are on your side, others aren't. The only real enemies which I have a hard time justifying killing would be Noddy, but other than that, most of the creatures in that world do try to hinder Kirby in some way or another.
I think what I love about this song is the sheer amount of _hope_ it carries. it really captures the feeling of being at the very darkest hour, and just when you're about to give into despair, the sun breaks over the horizon. the nightmare is over. the dawn has come. and now it's time to take back the day, once and for all!
if you've ever read one piece, then i'd compare to hearing either Rubber Bazooka!! or "My Highest Point!". There's good reason why I compare Kirby and Luffy constantly, and Hypernova retroactively reminds me a lot of Luffy's highest peak of all!

Looking back (as this is the first kirby game I ever played), the change from the moon background (repping the Queen's eternity), to the sun when Kirby gets the Miracle Fruit (the hope that Kirby will save the world), is an impressive design choice, given that the actual name of this song is "The World to Win."
the first time I listened to this song, it was amazing. I constantly used to struggle with video games the time this one came out. I would've probably died if it weren't for how much emotion and determination this song gave me.
What I like about the whole idea behind hypernova is that they set it up really well. The game includes this aspect in an impressive number of instances, and they perfectly set it up for this final moment, with the theme changes and the awesome hypernova encounters in the 6th level. Great job, Nintendo.

( Spoilers for Undertale and Kirby Triple Deluxe ) This is Kirby's version of Undertale's Finale. Both are awesome. In Finale, the souls help you. In this, King Dedede and Taranza help you. Well, that's not completely true, but they do give you the Miracle Fruit so that you can defeat Sectonia.
Xenomaster Alien I suppose, but Robobot did not have Pyribbit. Also, Robobot’s Hammer ability is stronger, and it has both Archer and ESP abilities. Also, I’d argue that Sectonia’s forms are harder than Haltmann and Star Dream, since barrel rolling really helps compared to constant gaps in the floor.
Gallant Blade pyribbit isn’t hard, he just get to attack you more than you get to attack him. While I do agree that robobot had more abilities with holdable intangibility, the heart of Nova is set up specifically to punish this strategy. Finally, star dreams final phases were far faster, and had tighter windows for escaping damage.

This is Kirby's version of Undertale's Finale. Both are awesome. In Finale, the souls help you. In this, King Dedede and Taranza help you. Well, that's not completely true, but they do give you the Miracle Fruit so that you can defeat Sectonia.
I'd say this is better, since it's also rather sad and dark as well as exciting, which Finale doesn't convey.

This game was arguably more difficult than Planet Robobot. Not that its a bad thing. These are some of the most difficult Kirby games to date.
Gallant Blade robobot true arena gives triple deluxe a run for its money
Xenomaster Alien I suppose, but Robobot did not have Pyribbit. Also, Robobot’s Hammer ability is stronger, and it has both Archer and ESP abilities. Also, I’d argue that Sectonia’s forms are harder than Haltmann and Star Dream, since barrel rolling really helps compared to constant gaps in the floor.
Gallant Blade pyribbit isn’t hard, he just get to attack you more than you get to attack him. While I do agree that robobot had more abilities with holdable intangibility, the heart of Nova is set up specifically to punish this strategy. Finally, star dreams final phases were far faster, and had tighter windows for escaping damage.
