    When did they put quiet zones on Market Center? I use to live right there and I remember them blowing horns every time...

    Last time I rode this was right behind the cab and glanced at the speedo and we were cruising at 75+ mph in sections, I didn't see this anywhere in this video

    Forgot to mention the lady just before Downtown Irving who decided it was best to cross the tracks while the gates were down.

      +North-Texas Railfan only cabcar I dislike is 1008,thankfully when I rode it Saturday, it was 120/1004(yes 1004) and 126/1009 as for 570 I like it

    Trinity Railway Express does not use or originate at the Texas and Pacific Station.

      Now when did that happen? Because this video is nearly 2 years old.

      @@bazis98 That's cool did you enjoy it? I've been spending my time running trains across portions of the TRE. I currently work for the DGNO and I may end up staying there for my entire career. If you've got the time to come out and watch trains I'm frequently running the Relief Job which consists of 3 Jobs. Switching in Mockingbird Yard a couple days, running the Garland Turn one day, and running the Miller Turn a couple days. There is a chance I'd be called to run another job back to it's home terminal. An example would be the Mockingbird Turn that got stuck in Mockingbird back to Carrollton.

      @@NorthTexasRailfan That's sick! I live about an hour north of Dallas so my best bet to watch any DGNO acrion is at Dallas Union Station and/or on TEXRAIL and the TRE lol

    how were you able to get to ride in the cab car?

    • @NorthTexasRailfan
      @NorthTexasRailfan  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anyone is able to ride in the cabcar on the TRE, just never in the cockpit as one would call it.

      It's a nice little commuter train to have between Dallas and Fort Worth.

    this line has always been single track?

    • @NorthTexasRailfan
      @NorthTexasRailfan  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Robbi496 This line has sections of double track to allow trains to pass one another. For the most part it is a single track main.

    Why video at angle?

    • @NorthTexasRailfan
      @NorthTexasRailfan  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +TREFan570 I have no idea how that happened.. might have been the natural vibrations from the cars and the tracks. Can't do much about it, but take another video of it sometime in hopes of fixing it.

    which do you like better the regular bell or the electronic bell

    • @NorthTexasRailfan
      @NorthTexasRailfan  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +trolleyman475 Depends honestly. Regular bells do sound sweeter.

      North-Texas Railfan I got to go with the electric bell

      The regular bell takes me back when I used to ride the Metrolink as a kid. The regular bell gives you that nostalgic feeling.
