I really enjoy watching your restorations of tattered guitars that many would simply dump in the trash. This restoration was particularly satisfying to watch. The colour choice and appointments make this guitar especially gorgeous.
Honestly this video alone is a gem to watch an old beat up guitar be restored to an absolute gem that would out perform guitars that cost several times as much!
The way you edit hours upon hours of sanding down to seconds makes it look so easy ... but those of us that have done this kind of work (I'm in the middle of a build project myself) know what you really went through ;) From one sand-paper jockey to another; very nice work!
I am not a fan of red, or shiny guitars. BUT! This is the best finish I have seen on a guitar. The love you put in really shines through on this one. Hat off to you.
WOW! This restoration of an old Greco LP copy was by far The greatest one I have ever seen done by you! You sir are a true artist! Turning something that was only worthy for the trash bin into a real masterpiece was amazing! I hope to see more of your amazing work soon!
Worthy of the trash? This would have sold quickly on reverb as it was originally in the beginning of this video. All the old Japanese lawsuit era guitars have gone up in value to the point that buying the Gibson is not far from thought lol😅 Hopefully they hold on to it because it’s not a seller’s market right now
That would be binding, typically used where there might otherwise be seams between the fretboard and neck, or a carved flame maple top on a mahogany body for example. Maybe it's aka banding but I've never really seen in called that before so I wasn't sure if you knew what it was, I was really impressed by the paint job in general.
You never fail to amaze me with how committed to restoring these guitars you are. As usual, it was a whole new instrument when you got through with it and she was beautiful. If you had an official title for your vocation, I'd still suggest it would be "Guitar Necromancer" given how you bring these back from the dead, more or less. Great work!
He's done refrets several times before. I don't know why he didn't to this one as it clearly needed it. Seems wierd to me as he went all out with the finish and getting locking tuners but skimped on the frets. I'm sure he had his reasoning and if it were a Gibson he probably would have.
I don't know about painting job, but it looked like you were going to try leave it with the wooden look, but changed your mind to paint with that gorgeous cherry red - great decision! It became incredible beautiful! Outstanding work! Cheers and regards from Brazil.
This is definitely your best refinish to date. That metallic red is absolutely stunning. I worry that the top's upper third seam separation will eventually crack that finish.
Once again you have done a wonderful job 👍, my son and I watched it together. We have two Greco's ourselves 😁👊, oh and the emo punk riffs are always a good bonus 😀😀. Your fan from Texas, Charles!
What an incredible transformation! And I have to hand it to you: I normally cannot stand designs on my humbucker covers. But these pickups both visually and audibly added the perfect final touch to this guitar.
Great restoration! I have a guitar in that metallic red and I'm not really convinced with the color. It's another type of guitar with a floating bridge... Anyway I thought you were going to leave it natural with the great restoration you did to the wood. The grain looked beautiful and it's so trendy to leave instruments with a natural finish.... Another thing I didn't understand is why you didn't restore the name of the guitar. With your skills you would have left it perfect... Last but not least, although you play very well, I would like to hear the guitars you restore, on a musical basis. Bass and drums accompanying them would be another way to evaluate the final sound... Greetings !
Very good model. I had almost the same Greco LG-70 in the same red metallic color, it was really playable instrument. Thank you for your work, looks awesome and also TY SO MUCH for ENVY covers! It's one of my favorite bands
absolutely stunning paint job love the color and the final result once again you show your incredible skills with creating an absolutely stunning guitar
Wow that finish! Good job. Also nice job getting the Ultrasonic I think they work best when everything is fully disassembled so it gets in all the cracks
Anyone who rescues damaged or worn out instruments can come to our house for Christmas dinner any year!! If only I could play anything, even Mary had a little lamb, I would love to learn this craft.
Amazing work! I wouldn't call this a restoration. It's an extreme elevation! You have wonderful technique and attention to detail. I loved all of your choices too. This sassy guitar screams "I'm one of a kind!" Congratulations on a job very well done.
Sir, your videos are highly entertaining and soothing to watch! Thank you so much for making them and thank you for restoring all these beautiful instruments!
I’ll never understand why people effectively destroy so many guitars and basses. I have never seen a mandolin or fiddle treated like firewood. Great job on this restoration. Outstanding.
@@mahirdethmany do. Not all. There are some pockets of certain genres that just mod their gear. It's a form of... personalization I suppose. I might change a pickup or tuners. But stickers, paint, or abuse... for a certain "look?" I'm not into it.
Very nice work. You should have addressed the neck pocket gap on the cutaway. That feature almost negates all your other hard and well executed work. It makes it look like a cheaply crafted guitar (which Greco guitars aren’t). I agree that a refret was needed along with a a properly fitted and adjusted nut. Replacing the pitted TOM & stop TP would have resulted in a much more cohesive look with the other new hardware. 9 out of 10 for your effort and skill sets. 3.5 out of 10 for some of your decisions. Overall: good job. 👍🏼👍🏼
Rattle-can backyard spray paint job with pro paint booth results... WOW!
The video well done too. Very watchable. Nice story line. Hats off.
Nice restauration and amazing paintwork, but it did turn into a bit of an abomination
I really enjoy watching your restorations of tattered guitars that many would simply dump in the trash. This restoration was particularly satisfying to watch. The colour choice and appointments make this guitar especially gorgeous.
Thank you!
Everytime I think a guitar is totally gone, you manage to surprise me! Great find, those Guyker guitar parts! They really look amazing!
Honestly this video alone is a gem to watch an old beat up guitar be restored to an absolute gem that would out perform guitars that cost several times as much!
Nice work, man 🤘🏼🎸🔥
Thanks for using our products🤩 Hope you enjoy them!
Amazing work! Love all the extra gold accents with the screws and hardware. Nice touch with the pickups and locking tuners.
Really nice work and design are awesome Glasgow 🏴 Thanks Jono

Amaizing work, but leaving dents in the frets is a crime ❤
Your refinishing skills are improving. I'm SUPER impressed with this one - I hope you're able to sell it for a mint.
I think a black switch tip would look better. Beautiful paint job
Extraordinary restoration friend, beautiful job you did on this guitar, one of the best I have seen
This is hands down the best restoration you have done so far. Amazing paintjob.
This is the best restoration you have done by far. Great color too! I would have done it in black. it was worth the wait.
Thank you.
I agree. With the black and white binding you might as well turn it into an LP custom.
Loved how you meticulously preserved the banding.

When I saw that you painted it silver, I said No! because I prefer it to wood, but the red one is also very beautiful. Great job!
Love this restoration.
Lovely restoration, but surprised that the worn frets and the nut weren't replaced.
Beautiful restoration but you do not plan to restore the headstock logo? The damaged logo looks out of place on an otherwise perfect guitar.
I gotta give it to you, That's a beautiful guitar!! You did a magnificent job restoring it.
Beautiful work, but why did you not repair logo on head stock?
Stunning result. If Iron Man had a guitar, this might be it.
Screw missing on bridge pickup plate
Great restoration
👍🏼🙂
To go from that much orange peel to a CAR finish looking like that took a heck of a lot more work than we were shown!
Absolutely beautiful. Far better than when it left the factory!

She desperately needs a refret but this has been a wonderful video. It pained me to see the saddles backward. You have taken it beyond new.
Thanks!
thank you!
Yep, that Motley Crue sticker has got to go! As always a complete transformation that turned out fantastic. Nice work!
At this point, it's time for you to learn to refret guitars. It's the only thing missing. Great job.
He's done refrets several times before.

honestly... i love the way the guitar looks before the restoration. but what a fine job making it look brand new
I’m with you! I love the heavy relic look, and that was all natural!
Beautiful. The new hardware really brought that together!
I don't know about painting job, but it looked like you were going to try leave it with the wooden look, but changed your mind to paint with that gorgeous cherry red - great decision! It became incredible beautiful! Outstanding work! Cheers and regards from Brazil.
You did an absolute beautiful job restoring that guitar
You did an excellent job restoring that Greco electric guitar. I like the looks of the new pickup modems.😊
Good job! Why didn't you attempt to restore the GRECO logo? I'm sure you could do it!
Amazing result. 😎. I don’t like the pick-up covers much, but rest is fantastic. Great workmanship 👍👍👍

I'm surprised you didn't make the front white like it looked. Nice job .
Fantastic job, as ever! Anyone else impatient to hear the playing at the end?
no
It’s awesome when I see ppl do this, much love! Make it your own. Glad to see these don’t go in the trash.
That guitar looks 🔥 what an amazing conversion, that metallic red and gold looks awesome!
Amazing restoration! Your best paint job by far and the guyker additions were eye catching! Great Job! You have my respect!
Stunning work. The paint job is amazing.
This guitar turned out beautiful. I've used Guyker products on some of my project guitars and have not regretted it. They make great stuff!
Your best refinish so far man
Wow.... Every restoration I see of yours gets better and better..... This one was truly a stunning restoration....
Incredible work! I’ve restored a few 1970s HONDO II Les Pauls (not to this extent!) and it was a lot of fun

Good job with the taping and spraying. Very impressive. Steady hands.
My first electric was a Candy Apple Red Les Paul, so I really enjoyed seeing this guitar get returned to looking beautiful 👍🏼

dope paint job. Super clean n squeaky clean finish literally.
This is straight up the best video on the internet
I have learned not all gild hardware looks like real gold but you got lucky with this one great work
I wasn't sure about the pick-up covers, but now I see it was a great fit. The best so far!
absolutely stunning paint job love the color and the final result once again you show your incredible skills with creating an absolutely stunning guitar
Wow that finish! Good job. Also nice job getting the Ultrasonic I think they work best when everything is fully disassembled so it gets in all the cracks
interesting to see Guyker parts from Aliexpress/Amazon being used here. great work as always.

you really turned that guitar completely around!
It looks astonishing!!
New life indeed
It looked so good natural. I couldn't have brought myself to paint it but that's me. Good job.
It was a 3-piece body, and the wood grains were not even close to matching. It was definitely a guitar that needed paint.
Sir, your videos are highly entertaining and soothing to watch! Thank you so much for making them and thank you for restoring all these beautiful instruments!
That's the prettiest one you've done yet.
Man that bad boy really came to life .. Great job!!!!!
The colour you chose is stunning. Fine work, sir!

that's the rock and roll energy
I got a bass (Fender J/P copy) that was incredibly trashed and fixed it up. It's a great instrument now. Cost me $30 at a pawn shop.
Very good restoration work! The metallic Red finish Is beautiful, bravo!👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Nice work!!! Im obsessed with how well these guitars come out and have a new look for life!
amazing!!!! that finish!!!... HYPER FULL GLOSSY CRIMSON!!... you are the best
Love everything you did on this one. Fabulous color scheme - looks super sharp!
I really love the metallic red finish... and the matching tuners !!
Amazing restoration, however, thinking on the cost to restore, this guitar’s owner shoulded buy a new one
What an awesome job. Congratulations you are a total master in restoring treasures. 👏👏👏🙏
Amazing!! Very nice restauration...beautiful red color and pickups !!

a very interesting change. I really like it.
I love the paint job.
Nice refinish, missed opportunity to refret the neck
Did you restore that for a client? We are sure he will love it.
Great job! I think it's time now to repair the front of that MESA cabinet!
I really like how it turned out. These old Japanese Grecos are from a better era.
Yup $2500+ guitars when restored like this
