The third one, on the final episodes they point this out But most importantly, the admiration/friendship pigsy got with. Chang'e can be seemed as a good parallelism on the story

@@lordpvt White Dragon Horse. Tang Sanzang originally rode a normal horse until Bai Long Mai ate it. After realizing the human was Tang Sanzang, he becomes Tang's horse for the rest of the journey and doesn't practically nothing of note for the rest of the story.
Love the fact that here, not just remember the dragon-horse, but also make him a important part of the group, as wukong say later "my loyal friend the dragon horse ao lie" and not let him be just a horse

Maybe it's the fact that Wukong aren't really close to any of them except MK.Him thinking that they're his old friends makes Pigsy to get to know how Wukong acts around his friends without acting all cryptid.
I just love LMK first Yamcha death pose and hireing the guy, who gave Goku voice to do that to Wukang in the english version is pure perfection looking at the fact that Toriyama created Goku's character to be the closest to Wukang's as much as possible :D
Well I can see why he didn't include the White horse dragon, the weirdly most forgettable character in the book since all the dragon does is be a horse and NOTHING else despite being a literal dragon with the powers of a demi god. Never even fought some of the nastier enemies like the One horned king, Red Son or the Scorpion lady. Also, a bit of context on the whole eating Tang to getting immortality. The monk in the original story was the reincarnation of something called Golden Cicada (which I guess was important) so he was just no ordinary monk and any buddhist monk's meat gave demons immortality.
What I don’t get in the show is that many of the demons that wanted to eat the monk are still alive so like how long can they live and yet they want immortality so badly they always try to take it through monkey
I’m assuming they’re talking about the impervious type of immortality where they can’t die by any means unlike in mortality we usually see which is just invincibility to old age
I just thought of something if tang and pigsy and the cat are reincarnations then is monkey kid the reincarnation of monkey king but he is not dead I know and if he is then where is macaques reincarnation or who is his reincarnation
Sandy, tang, and pigsy are all reincarnations of their respective characters that died years ago, MK is Monkey Kings apprentice. From what I understand those are the only reincarnations (with Mei being a decesndant).
