@@DannyMac3d Doesn't hurt to duplicate the file a few times either. You never know if you can ctrlZ back enough or if your file gets corrupted. @Xsuprio I iterate, and each iteration automatically saves 5 backup.blend files. Every iteration, along with their 5 backup.blend files is automatically saved to Dropbox, which has version history on every blend file, and every backup.blend file for 30 days. I think I've got it covered 🫶
that hair turned out amazing!!! You really inspire me to open up Blender every time I watch your videoes :D (An then I close it right back down because I get overwhelmed with what I am modelling XD )
Seeing your excitement when getting the hair was awesome! I love that feeling when you work so hard to get 1 single thing to work and then solving the problem… Didn’t know about these challenges, will try to participate this month!
The finished piece looks fantastic, as ever, but I am so gutted you didn't manage to do it in the other pose with the background and everything else! :( I totally understand why you couldn't but I was so looking forward to see how you would tackle an environment with your level of finish (which I rate highly) but also it would have looked sick!
Great video. It was definitely worth it, even if it may not fit all of your projects it's always nice to have additional workflow, but for me personally looks amazing.
Hey man, love the results. I prefer the hair in geometry nodes because it looks more polished but I like the poly model for print reasons :). I did something similar with a character of mine and definitly like the idea of having curves drive, geometry that drives GN. It is so much more intuitive then xgen haha. Love to see how you approached it, really like your tutorials. keep it up :)
Awesome artwork and video! Would love to see more of this style for sure! Are you planning on making a tutorial on how to make hair like you did here? Thanks!
You always make the hair on your characters stylized, but I always wanted to see your characters with more real hair. and now I see it and they look spectacular.
always love to see your videos and see you happy, may I ask you some questiosn? if you use other models as the retopology base, why didn´t you use this meshes as a base for sculpting instead?, all of your works have very similar proportios and features and maybe this can help you speed your work in my opinion, and the other questios what is the new workflow you used for the hair? it looks amazing, cheers and have good day sir
Please do a tutorial for the hair
Amazing art....please do a tutorial on the geometry to Geo-Hair nodes:) (16:05)

Maybe I'll have a go at this, I might model a Marvel Character that barely anyone talks about now a days
Marvel theme is coming to an end! July's theme is Overwatch :)
Made me nervous when you applied the hair process to all the existing strands, because I wasn't sure if you saved first. Glad it worked out!
I'm saving every 3 seconds when working on hair haha

Amazing, thank you for all you share. If you enjoyed the new hair method then keep going! We will grow as you do
Love your style and dedication. Even though the hair part was time consuming, the most important part was you learned something new out of it.
Having the process and his reaction of it working was great
