Thank you, but regret to say that I am not aware of policy around pets in Athidi hotel. You can call their reception and find out.

Hi, it was a great video for a long journey. I am planning for my first travel to Kolkata from Bangalore. I need your suggestion (may be from Arko) 1st : how you make yourself physically and mentally prepared for this? 2nd : What are the things you've checked for your car before journey(apart from servicing). Thanks in advance

Thank you for checking our vlog. For your 1st question - I follow two things as much as possible - eat light and sleep tight for previous 3-4 days. Also, if there is anything for which you are stressed, please keep that aside while driving. I try to enjoy the entire drive with many relaxing conversations with my wife.
For your 2nd question - things to check are in order 1. brake, 2. Windshield Fluid, 3. Perfect Inflation of Tires, 4. Seat position, 5. A Cushion behind shoulder, 6. Insurance information inside Glovebox, 7. Crystal clear windshield and side-view mirrors, 8. No blockage between the rear-view mirror and the rear glass so that you can see following cars properly. 9. No luggage clicking and clucking inside the car while it is in motion, as it can be very annoying and may divert your concentration. Please try to fill full tank the night before you are starting. This will give you a headstart. I think it like a game, and break down the whole journey in 100 - 100 miles. This gives me a sense of accomplishment. Silly, but works like a charm for me 😅 By the way you can get more details of Bangalore to Kolkata trip in separate 2 videos, in the same playlist. If you want more information, you can check those two as well.

@@beautifulbeyond8890 thanks for your replay. One last comment, if any group travel is happening just let us know. Bit concerned to travel with wife and little daughter. Thanks again

Thank you for checking our vlog. I will suggest to take good amount of dry fruits, fruit juice and atleast one energy booster. Please drive carefully in Odissa, there will be traffic and traffic cameras for detecting over speeding. Please keep a cloth handy beside driver seat, in car the windshield gets foggy, due to temperature difference between inside and outside of the car. Also take at least 3 breaks, 15 mins or more each. Merge your petrol break with normal break. Eat as light as possible. If possible, please do not drive alone. It is very much necessary for someone to accompany you during your entire trip. Please book all the accommodation for your night halt(s) ready, prior to your journey. Please do not indulge in any racing as there can be speed bumps in many places in Odisha. Try to cover as much as possible in daylight, night drive can be exhausting. Drive safe. Happy journey.
